My Father passed away & i'm suicidal. I want to talk to somebody

in summary, my dad passed away not to long ago, 8 months ago, on april while i was 12. i'm 13 and i've been grieving for 6 months now and im suicidal.

i'm not doing this to get attention, but to talk to someone.

my dad was a jehovah's witness and i want to talk to all of you.

Hello Qrystal. I'm really sorry to hear about how badly you are being feeling. Please do seek help from somebody who can talk to you about dealing with your grief. Use some of the numbers others have provided above and/or talk to an older trusted friend. It will get better and you will have a long and happy life in the future. You really do need help to get through this crisis. Wishing you well.

Hell Exists

examine this verse, one under nkjv and the other nwt:.

nkjv - matthew 25:46, "and these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.".

An all loving God sends those to Hell who chose to go to Hell.

That is exactly comparable to an abusive husband who beats his wife mercilessly and then says "look at what you made me do to you."

Poppy - a deity who would burn a creature eternally is the most evil concept ever imagined by sadists.

I am actually convinced that there is a sexual dimension to the dogma.

Such a god is beneath the contempt of all decent people. If Jesus did preach such a perverted doctrine then it adds to the case that he was an evil man.

this may have been covered before but have you noticed the logo design of the "inside story" on this months video the 143rd gilead graduation.

it appears as a pyramid containing the masonic symbol of the compass and square, with this reflected below the text.

the art pieces on the shelf are also interesting and maybe someone has some thoughts on these.

I think rumours of Masonic links are nothing but wishful thinking by ex-JWs who would love to discover some sort of conspiracy behind the organisation. The reality is far more banal.

Having said that I did think the logo was bizarre! Do you have a link where we could get a screenshot?

It's true that JWs do not have a mentality of financial giving as other religions do.

Perhaps it's a result of all the boasting they used to do about never soliciting and fantastical stories about how god will provide.

What's destroying Watchtower!

for me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, it's the extreme shunning policy.. at a recent sunday meeting, i listened to a complete brainwashed sister saying how important it was that we stick to the shunning policy even if it is a close relative.. i just thought.

there is a big difference between the brainwashed and the awoken class!.

The core teaching of the Watchtower is that 99.9% of the men, women and children in the world must be destroyed in order to make way for a "Paradise".

This is an EVIL ideology. In thought, if not in action, it aligns the Watchtower with Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Hitler. All of them considered mass murder acceptable in pursuit of utopia.

Associating yourself with this ideology would be indefensible.

i think one strange view is how only 144000 go to heaven.

since the number is mentioned in the symbolic book of revelation, you would expect that the number would be viewed as figurative, but jws say otherwise.
