  When we admire an impressive work of art or impressive piece of machinery we readily conclude that it was well made by its creator.

  Yes because we know that art asn machinery is made by humans. It doesn't reproduce therefore it isn't subject to the actions of natural selection.

  Biology is NOTHING like art or machinery.

  Yet, when we look at life in all its incredible diverse glory we are encouraged to conclude that it all arose spontaneously because it was supposed to: no creator required

  'Glory'?

  What about all the stuff that is amazingly 'designed' to kill and devour other stuff? The microbes that do nothing except kill and reproduce for example?

  Nobody. It's not that sort of 'code'. It's just nucleotides doing their thing. That vast majority of DNA 'code' is meaningless gibberish, filler, parasitic code and broken stuff.

  Sentience is a property of most species of complex animals.

  c. Why do we desire to create and repair and emotionally "connect?"

  Because we are a social species whose speciality is big brains. The ability to connect with other members of our group is essential to our survival and chances of reproduction.

  Is there any published work regarding Evolution which isn't hypothetical:

  Yes. Tens of thousands of peer-reviewed studies. Absolute, incontrovertible proof beyond all reasonable doubt.

  Life is a process which harnesses Energy in numerous ways to accomplish productive goals. Where does this Knowledge originate?

  The most likely source for the origin of life is in deep sea Alkaline vents. The method of energy production was the creation of proton gradients across a membrane just as it is now in every mitochondria in every cell in your body.

  The details are quite complex. The field of study is called bioenergetics. One of the teams working on it is led by Nick Lane at UCL.

  By the way it has nothing to do with 'knowledge' Matter organising itself to harness energy - or to look at it another way, to maximise entropy - is as unlikely as a stone rolling down a hill.

  Rejection of evolution isn't caused by reaching any 'knowledge threshold'. It is caused by a rejection of knowledge. Every time you post you expose your wilful ignorance.

  Of course it is. I will follow the evidence wherever it leads. So far you have presented not one single scrap of evidence.

  I know the arguments for creation and the evidence for evolution really well.

  When one goes where Evolution doesn't and examines the Biological, Chemical and Electrical sub-systems which enable life

  Biological sciences do go there and the findings fully support evolution. Creationists have contributed NOTHING to human knowledge. They are academic parasites.

  Your ignorance of science does not equate with any lack of scientific knowledge.

  Not all are interested in digging deeply into the processes of life in search of answers which may be uncomfortable

  Not only do I enjoy digging into these details I have written about them. Far from being uncomfortable they are incredibly fascinating. What specifically would you like to talk about? I assume your contribution will be copy-paste and/or AIG videos.

  contrary to common belief, neither the bible nor the watchtower condemns homosexuality; however, they do condemn the practice of fornication.

  homosexuality is same sex attraction whether such attraction is acted upon or not.

  leviticus 20:13 describes a man having sexual relations with a man, or the act of fornication.

  I know too much to ever revert back to my younger years when, superficially, the possibility of evolution held some small merit - Old Navy

  You have never read a single science book presenting the evidence for evolution in your entire life and yet 'you know too much'.

  Every single one of your dozens of posts attacking evolution can be summarised as follows - 'I have watched some wildlife documentaries and life is really, really complex. I can't imagine how evolution can account for that, and I can't be bothered studying the evidence; therefore Jesus.'

  how can someone really know the gradual evolutionary proces from bottom-up? - redpilltwice

  The very genes - in fact the very letters of DNA - that trigger the building of an eye and all of the individual processes are described in astonishing detail on the scientific press

  Every possible stage of complexity from a simple patch of light-sensitive cells all the way to our own complex eyes can be observed in the living world. How colour arose - and was lost - and was developed again is known, how the lens evolved from existing proteins is old news, how the eye came to focus light on the retina is understood.

  What exactly do you think still needs to be done before you give your assent?

  How much work have you done to research the current state of knowledge?
