50 Years since the first moon landing
by eyeslice2 inin july of 1969, i was 16 years old and was pretty excited by the prospect that the us would shortly land a man on the moon.
however, i remember, vividly and older brother at the time confidently stating that man would never walk on the moon, quoting psalms 115 - "as for the heavens, they belong to jehovah.
but the earth he has given to the sons of man.

Any politician or advocate who is encouraging the black community to demand reparations is their greatest enemy.
Black people in 2019 are not victims. Those individuals who think otherwise have fallen for an agenda that will keep them subservient.

JWs who drift away and then start saying or doing things that contradict the teachings of the cult are likely to be shunned even if the elders have not taken action.
That is different from JWs who have simply become inactive and stopped attending meetings.

The second screenshot is referring to JWs who have 'drifted away' - inactive publishers - not to disfellowshipped persons.
I hate sounding like I am defending the cult but you keep posting terrible arguments. Always quote your opponent in context otherwise you just weaken your own case.

I don't get it.
How is the admission that some JWs have abused children incompatible with the claim that they are not 'permissive of pedophiles'?
Weak arguments harm the case against the cult.
Be in no doubt that I believe that the Watchtower has created a haven for pedophiles but I don't get your argument.

from their depictions in ancient myth (that are brought to life on the silver screen in modern retellings) to the less-sensational, yet stirring biopics of sometimes seemingly mythical, but actual flesh and blood persons who have helped shape our world, there is certainly no shortage of heroic women and men.
chances are, however, that it is the unsung hero that has likely had the most impact on our lives.

Again you seem to be almost entirely focussed on the legal rights of people who suffer from gender dysphoria.
That is a different topic from the rights of homosexuals - despite the best efforts of pressure groups to conflate the two.
