  it seems the news always has another report of a pedo stalking children or hurting them.

  i know this has gone on forever but i read another report of an illegal alien with a history of abuse taking advantage of another poor child.. i just don’t understand why some people do this.

  is there an actual brain abnormality?

  That is ideological claptrap. It is like saying an armed bank robber primarily wanted to control the teller and his interest in money was, at most, incidental.

  It would improve the safety of children if somebody who has sexual attraction of minors could go to their doctor and admit to that and volunteer for chemical castration and ongoing counseling and monitoring.

  Some people's brains are wired that way. It doesn't excuse them acting on that impulse but they need help to control it.

  Anybody who does assault a child should not be released until they submit to castration, chemical or physical.

  avoid the movie franchise at all costs.

  horrible movies.. here's why i recommend this book: its prime focus is using rational reasoning to form your life philosophy - whether that be relationships, career or faith.. it also gives insight into the mind of someone who survived the geopolitical equivalent of the jws - the communist regime of stalin.. the antagonists of the book are referred to as "collectivists".

  I will read her. It's good to reflect on ideas that you are not instinctively attracted to.

  Stephen Hicks is a member of the Rand Society and I greatly admire his discourses on philosophy. I can't see me ever adopting full-blown Libertarianism.

  The distinction between individualism of liberal democracies and the collectivism of the Right (Fascist) and Left (Communist) systems is crucial.
