  the jw website is currently featuring a piece: the shell of the diabolical ironclad beetle​—was it designed?

  it is part of their regular tedious 'was it designed?

  ' series that purports that very very specific animal species must have been specifically designed because of some seemingly amazing feature.. but they seem completely unaware that this directly contradicts their notion that only very broad 'kinds' were required on the mythical 'ark'.

  All living things are wonderfully designed to kill or escape predation.

  By 'design' I mean of course the correlation of form and function. Natural selection is a brilliant designer which is why it has been employed by human designers to solve difficult design challenges.

  Christians who accept the fact of biological evolution still have all their work ahead of them. Why did god employ a process that maximised the suffering of conscious creatures?

  (Christians who deny biological evolution need to read a book not written by Iron Age goat herders)

  Prediction: I think the Blood Policy is about to change.

  i’d like to start out by saying this is my opinion.. i believe that the organisation is about to make blood transfusions in any form a conscience matter.. they will still ban the eating of blood.. they will gaslight everyone by talking about how it is so much safer now.

  and will say something along the lines of how our stance protected us from the aids crisis etc.. and i believe this change is going to happen before the annual meeting 2024.. i think the annual meeting will announce they are scrapping the midweek meeting and instead we get to watch a streamed talk at home through a revamped website similar to the way netflix works.. obviously take my opinion with a hefty pinch of salt..

  They have always stated that the blood ban was a matter of principle based on the symbolic value of blood and nothing to do with medical safety. Of course if you quiz a JW about blood they will be unable to explain the principle and witter on about how dangerous blood is.

Imagine you could make it so that the victim never found escape from their agony through death, not just to extend their pain for a few hours or days but literally for all eternity.

  Now imagine you could impose this penalty on untold millions of humans; not as a punishment for hideous acts against others but for thought-crimes.

  Anybody who can worship and adore a deity who invented this incredible depravity is a moral imbecile. Christians believe they can celebrate in heaven, eating, drinking and praising their god within sight and sound of a scene that would make Auschwitz look like a holiday camp.
