It perfectly captures the bewilderment of JWs who lose faith.

it is due to be on general release in the uk on august 24th 2018. september 14th usa.. its shortened trailer is being advertised in the uk on the biggest independent tv channel - namely itv - at prime time.
just seen it in advertisment breaks between 6pm and 7pm uk time.. thought you might like to know..

i do sympathize with her feelings of immense injustice.
Except there was no injustice. She had a tantrum when she was held to the same rules as everybody else.
She was not as good as Osaka and needed to blame somebody - anybody.

It reminded me of Willy Russell's Educating Rita. That scene in the pub after she's been studying Shakespeare and she thinks Lady Macbeth is a cow. Her husband and family are having fun in the pub and she just feels lost. - xant

I agree with dubstepped. They (many but not all) believe that if they are obedient then god will make everything right again for all eternity. If they are disobedient they will lose eternal life.
Wrong beliefs lead to bad decisions.
There are a lot of ex_JWs who don't seem to have ever been real believers.
