  what started as news of a man and woman being found unconscious on a park bench 12 days ago is escalating into an international incident.. sergei skripal had worked as a double agent for british intelligence mi6 before he was discovered and imprisoned in russia in 2006. he was later flown to england as part of a spy-swap in 2010. on sunday 4th march he was discovered along with his 33 year old daughter yulia close to a shopping centre in salisbury.. since then the story has become increasingly bizarre.

  a policeman who was first to attend the scene also became critically ill and remains in hospital.

  government scientists at porton down have confirmed that the cause is a russian military-grade nerve agent novichok.

The numbers were from the same batch, with only 26 intervening passport numbers between “Petrov”’s (654341297), and “Shirokov”’s (654341323) number. “Shirokov”’s passport was issued in August 2016, implying that Petrov’s and Boshirov’s passports were issued by the same special authority earlier that year. Indeed, as we will see in their international itinerary below, they start travelling in early April 2016, suggesting that only 26 passports were issued by this special authority between April and August 2016....

  I think that we don't spread nerve agents in the streets of the UK resulting in millions of pounds of costs in clean-up. I think we don't use nerve agents to kill our enemies in any city anywhere in the world.

  I think Russia has a long and proven history of using poison to kill its opponents abroad.

  I think it is beyond all doubt that Salisbury was the work of senior Russian intelligence agents - at least one of which was decorated personally by Putin recently.

  Our relationship with Russia has never been worse thanks to many years of U.K. foolishness and stupidity

  Our failing relationship with Russia is entirely due to the resurgence in Russian Eurasian nationalism and the actions of a totalitarian dictator who rigs elections with actual murders of his political opponents, invades his neighbours and sanctions black-flag operations to boost his popularity.

  Maybe they are retired, or maybe they were set up by MI6, who knows?

  Retired GRU agents do not have access to military-grade nerve agents.

  We have all heard about 'demonic' panic from other JWs. This one went viral and meshed with the GBs more recent panic-mongering about 'men in black' coming for them all.

  ... they've accepted me!

  finance is already sorted - they're waiting for me to give them my new student number so that they can start paying me.

  just need to formally accept bristol's offer and sort out accommodation.. accommodation should be ok - i've been told priority is given to new students, plus i'm enrolling onto a program for a real degree as a postgraduate - i won't be studying gender studies or some crap like that.

  Dirt Fishing - Latest Coin Finds

  it's that time of year again when i can get back on the fields with the metal detector looking for ancient stuff.

  the first field to be harvested was full of peas - ideal as it leaves no stubble and it's a two minute walk from my house.

  it has given up two coins in two visits this week.. the first one is a cut-half silver penny from the reign of henry ii.
