It's not a 'bang up'. These are very highly trained police drivers who will knock the bikes into a slide, not a head-on collision.
If somebody dies as a result that will be regrettable but the blame will rest with them.
The alternative is gangs of young men terrorising communities with impunity.

I heard about this new policy recently. It had to be done. For years kids have been running amok on motorbikes knowing the police were prohibited from chasing them. Often they were involved in street robbery and got away.
Excellent decision. If they get injured too bad.
for those of you here in the uk, just wondered if the shunning policy within the jehovah's witnesses contravenes the equality act 2010.. .
for example, as the ibsa comes under a religious ethos, it would considered a service of sorts, and if it were proven they discriminated against someone due to difference in beliefs, could a case be brought against them.. .
for example, if an individual (a jdub)) employs quite a number of witnesses; he decides to leave the watchtower and join another church; but then all his employees suddenly leave as they follow the watchtower line and shun him.
I think an individual JW could fall foul of the law if they refused to serve an ex-JW but I can't see how the Organisation could be held to account.
It might be interesting if an ex-JW did try to frequent a JW-owned business and see if they are discriminated against.
today is my 34th birthday.
or, my 3rd birthday that i've actually acknowledged seeing as i was raised in the cult.. i woke up this morning to my 4yo running into my room and wishing me a "happy birthday daddy!".
i got a card from my ex-jw brother and i bought myself a birthday gift - a new 50mm lens for my nikon camera (photography is a hobby i took up since leaving the cult).. i dont know about you guys, but birthdays is still something i have to make a conscious effort to acknowledge and enjoy.

The decision to leave the EU was the correct one for the long-term future of the UK. Those who believed Brexit would lead to instant prosperity and that the process would be pain-free are naive fools.
The EU is a monster that will never be satisfied until nation-states are replaced by its unaccountable authority.
There will be no second vote. Brexit will happen. All will be well.

It takes a lot of honesty and critical-thinking skills to work out that the 'truth' is a delusion. If you carry on resolutely applying those same skills to the claims of theism you will be forced to conclude that it too is a delusion.

thinking back on how we were not suppose to get involved in honoring the dead yet the entire bible is based on dead people, what they have done whether good or bad and lessons we could learn from them and honoring them.
i remember being told that we are not suppose to go boasting before men on what we do, not letting the right hand know what the left hand is doing yet all those people in the bible had their entire lives written down before us to be remembered.
