Do You Ever Wonder Where Certain Posters Are?

Since you asked you could try to cut out the sophomoric personal attacks. You could try to stop seeing every disagreement as a personal vendetta. You could try to stop doubling down when you post nonsense and somebody has the temerity to point it out to you.
Cartoons wouldn't be high on my list of what you could do.

Outlaw left after being reprimanded by Simon.
I had a number of conflicts with Outlaw. He was a passionate defender of a group of extremely irrational and bullying xtians who hijacked every meaningful thread for a while before they were banned. He now moderates for them on their own forum.
Some of his attacks were tantrums of the most extreme and unpleasant kind. I never retaliated in kind. Just like when I have to deal with Morph's obnoxious behaviour I always try to remain calm and factual. At least Outlaw had cartoons.
Anybody can see the final interaction with Outlaw here...

Do elders still ask inactive members to write a letter to disassociating yourself from the Congregation?
by RULES & REGULATIONS indo today's elders ever meet with inactive members and pressure them to write a letter disassociating themselves from the congregation stating that, ''you no longer wish to a jehovah witness"?.
i was baptized at the young age of 16. after turning 18, i stopped attending meetings, field service, and all jehovah's witness activities.
i wanted to be with my high school friends, go to rock concerts, have a girlfriend, and live like a normal teen.

Steve — Once again. It is NOT necessary for elders to get anything in writing before they announce somebody is no longer a JW. To verbally fail the 'loyalty question' is sufficient.
This challenge will almost certainly not happen to a JW who has simply become inactive. However, as many posters have testified above, it does regularly happen if a JW is suspected of apostasy and still has social contact with other JWs
MrExJW — What you have or haven't heard hardly counts as data.

Jehovah's Witnesses and the Great Crowd
by Meshech inas jesus christ was preparing to go to his death, he encouraged his disciples with these words:.
"in my father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, i would have told you.
i go to prepare a place for you.

Meshech I haven't read your OP yet but thanks for your post.
Discovering the significance of the naos and seeing how the Watchtower lied about this in a Question From Readers was the moment I realised they were not just wrong but actually deceitful.
It saddens me that other posters dismiss the potential of this sort of information to help questioning JWs who lurk here.

There remains no policy where they try to force someone to da
No such policy exists in writing. I repeat that in cases of suspected apostasy they will pressure for a DA if they are struggling to justify reasons for DF. Stop being so naive.

Regardless of written instructions, when it comes to cases of apostasy, elders may be directed to seek a verbal DA.
Your arrogance is matched by your naivety.

Elders WILL accept a verbal admission that an individual no longer recognises the organisation as god's channel as a statement of dissociation. I am personally aware of one occasion when exactly this was done following instruction from a circuit overseer.
As usual Morph cannot restrict himself to a civil discussion of facts but has to resort to obnoxious behaviour.

Either you are df’d, you take the initiative to write a da letter or you are inactive - Morph
That isn't true. Blondie is correct. I have personal experience of elders trying to force a dissociation.
It doesn't have to be in writing. If you fail the loyalty question they will accept that as a DA.
