  leaving neverland the micheal jackson documentary was just released and i must say watching it myself left me pretty disgusted but not necessarily surprised.. being that there is two accounts given by two separate boys, men now, leaves the impression that their stories are truthful and factual.. what one can take from this story is that mj was a megalomaniac that thought he had the power, money and personal stature to get away with just about anything he wanted, this included pedophilia with boys.

  i wonder if the over oppression restrictive nature of being brought up a child in the jws religion had an effect to his loose out of control behavior of a super rich celebrity ?.

  his celebrity status and wealth really came to him when he was a pubescent young boy/teen, money in such a huge amount made anything he wanted or could afford possible.. personally i think he was inherently gay and had pursued arranged marriages to protect his perceived public image, a pretentious act which was mostly devised as a money and business endeavor .

  No adult takes an unrelated child into their bed for innocent reasons.

  By the way lots of celebrities are bad people for all sorts of reasons. Of course it is sensible to separate the person from the art, but a predatory pedophile is too much.

  steph - It would take too long and it was too long ago to recall all the details, but at the time of the trial I was convinced of his guilt. IMO the prosecutor lost it by piling too many weak pieces of evidence into the trail which obscured the important facts.

  No adult takes an unrelated child into their bed for innocent reasons. His carefully practiced naivety and innocent facade was bullshit. He was a predator.

  i stopped attending meetings about three months ago.

  after researching everything i could find on jehovahs witnesses (which is a lot) i can happily say i am awake and free.

  i was a baptized witness for over 25 year.

  Hi welcome to the forum and congratulations on waking up. Please be patient with hubby. Breaking free isn't only about facts, its also about the huge emotional attachment and investment in time and energy. The heart takes time to catch up with the head.

  Be understanding and enjoy your freedom. Hopefully he will just take a bit longer than you to get there. Be careful about saying things that will just make him defensive. Freedom for your children is the greatest reason to persevere.
