The descent of all living things from a common ancestor by means of unguided evolution over millions of years is a fact. It is as certain as the fact that the earth is not flat.

Trying to reason with flat earthers is as difficult as talking to a creationist. Both are convinced of their position in spite of all the evidence.

The vast majority of Christians accept the fact of evolution and find a way to reconcile it with their beliefs. Only JWs, fundies, an Muslims have a problem with it.

Reporting hours has long been one of two levers the cult has used to manipulate its members - shunning obviously being the other. There is no way they have made this move voluntarily. This must be a result of the need to minimise legal exposure. It might have the effect of reducing the urgency PIMO members feel to get out.

i came across this footage recently whilst searching for something completely unrelated and it blew me away!.

it's from the august 1974 convention at murrayfield, edinburgh and you can clearly see the stage set up still keeping the 6000 years and 1975 mantra going.. what makes this very personal for me is that i was here.

Thanks for posting that. I was there too. Travelling back and forward to Airdrie each evening. The dramas were the highlights of the convention for the children. At least there was something to look at instead of the trains, the steam from the brewery and the planes heading for Turnhouse.
