Thank you Darkspilver for pointing that out. I have lost track of what is going on in Britain as I no longer live there and I tend to focus more on Polish than any languages. Never knew that there were meetings in Slovak and Lithuanian though I can confirm that Polish were established a lot longer in the East European language field that is.

Slimboyfat: There is currently 5 circuits in Scotland namely Angus No 1, Ayrshire No 1, Fife No 1, Lanarkshire No 1 and Midlothain No 1. The letter mentions that there will be 6 new circuits in Scotland so this suggest a 6th new one is to be formed but I can't see where the progress and increase is coming from. The foreign language field is the only one that is increasing at the moment. Just look at the number of foreign language conventions that are taking place in 2018 in which some languages are having for the first time such as Japanese, Slovak and Lithuanian.

Here is expressing my own view and opinion of the matter. Please don't waste you time in the organization of JW's. You don't know life outside the box only inside once your back in and that is where the danger lies. I hate the fact that they think they are the only ones going to be saved. Please do research before commencing your journey back to the fold. Here are some links for you:

Manchester, New Moston Congregation Charity Commission case.

we have had a week or so of occasional national news and certainly local news about this case in north west england.

it is on the government charity website too.. is anyone able to furnish the forum with any information about how it is being perceived in the local community - especially the local jw's?.

or anywhere else?.

Thank you so much Isambard Crater for providing the video link! Much appreciated! I was looking for this video yesterday on youtube without much success until I saw your post today so thank you again. So important that people know what shunning is like and how it breaks up families as the experiences were being related in the video. Very cruel policy indeed and as UnshackleTheChains rightly said hope many active witnesses will wake up and realize that this is unnecessary and unloving. Excellent presentation by Victoria Derbyshire and the former witnesses who were interviewed.

My prayers and thoughts are with his family at this sad time. Extremely disturbing is that Devon in South West England is considered to be a very safe part of the UK.

Man charged with his murder appears in court today Thursday 8 June 2017.
