I need to lose 20 pounds
by Heartbreaker ini hate to exercise, therefore i haven't really ever done it, and stuck with it.
i've had 6 children, and am quite sedentary.
i get really bad migraines when my blood pressure rises, hence hating excercise.. .

Why? Are your words low calorie?
Sometimes it hard for me to talk. My airway was compromised when one of my vocal cords was cut and the other got banged up after a botched thyroidectomy. I had a trach for awhile because both cords were in the closed position. The banged up vocal cord recovered the other one didn't. I, frequently, have laryngospasm. So, talking too much is hard, eating my words so to speak; exercising is almost impossible. Soon, I will, probably, start losing weight without trying because swallowing is becoming hard. . .blah, blah, blah. . .

You can still pick on fatties, but only the ones that whine saying they can't exercise while eating a donut.
When I was young and thin, I remember being smug and offering advice on diet and exercise to an overweight woman. She said that she couldn't do it. I didn't understand what she meant. Now, I have to eat my words.

Would any of you DESTROY ones faith and life as a JW if they were your dying grandparents?
by EndofMysteries inthis is a serious question, trying to decide the right thing to do.........i do believe in god, i am sorting out what i believe and true from lie and such.
have question on how atheist and just ones belief in god would respond to this.. .
if you have a grandparent, (or even some relative) who spent their entire life as a jw.

I dunno? When I was working, there was this girl that was a previous drug abuser/alcoholic. She talked about Jesus and God all the time. She kept trying to get people to come to her point of view and belief. One day, I just couldn't take her preaching anymore; so I went off half-cocked and told her my beliefs. I'm agnostic. It, definitely, rocked her world. During the shift, she became nervous looking; it looked like she wanted a drink/drug all night (I worked nights.).
I felt so bad. I couldn't take it back. I took away the glue that was holding her together. I hope that she didn't go back to drugs/drinking.
You just never know.
