wow sounds like my story being all depressed and confused with family using the religion to control me.. Glad she got free of it.. there is hope!

I honestly think that is why they only let people stay in Bethel so long now. After so many years they kick them out. So they aren't there long enough to find out what is really going on. There are still some lifers there but all the new groups I know of go after a few years. we had one in the family that after 4 years his groups term was up for dismissal.
I questioned right away the societys reasons for this that they kick them out after so many years and at the same time whine they don't have enough bethel vollenteers.... its the only reason I can come up with.

Walkin is right I noticed right away how much more intense the MC tactics are in the study version.. I noticed it the first article.. and if they don't READ page 18 of the study watchtower and see the GB begging for money then there is something wrong.

Any Ideas on the Next "Big Thing" that Will Bring the Watchtower Down?

I think all they have to do is make there fianicial records PUBLIC..and right there will be all the proof the need. BTW do they still do accounts reports I haven't heard one since the thrusday night meeting changed and everyone I asked said "oh they do I did'nt hear any either but I missed a meeting." soo either there doing them when no one is in the Hells or they stopped doing it. I know it is no longer and appointed "slot" in the KM anymore. Not since the new "arrangment" started.

New Songbook: Pedantic Piano Practise?
by metatron inok, the new songbook has gotten rid of some pretty awful lyrics about molested bees and nazarites, etc.
but after listening to several of the songs played at the kingdumb hall, all the songs started ------ to-------sound--------like-------this.
one careful paused note per syllable as if the whole songbook was published to help teach children learn how to play piano.. we can't expect "amazing grace" from these hacks, i guess.

I agree and all the songs seem to have a line added either about obedience or the preaching work I noticed... Mind control at it best... they always say you should let you children listen to rock music cause it can warp them and infulence them. I think they took there own advice! I soo hate the new song book, I seriously refuse to sing to it. They RUINED my favorate song added some line about the preaching work which didn't even apply ..totally screwed it up

Anybody Know What Presiding Overseer's are Being Told at Bethel School ?
by flipper ini guess there is a special training school going on for presiding overseers according to my jw mom.
my elder brother went back there for a week training session .
he explained that they are doing this training first in the united states only for presiding overseers and if it works out well - they'll implement it across the world in other countries.. apparently he stated that the training they are getting is very detailed and to the point.

sounds like me there going to be going off the "main stream" religion route..and just being a publishing company soon. Or there having a going out of business soon. Sides didn't they ALWAYS say government would close FALSE religions down FIRST, THEN turn on the Watchtower??? Hmm they are up to something me thinks.

A Little sick to my stomach
by dssynergy ini just heard from my family that my little nephew, going to turn 8 soon, just joined the ministry school.
i felt a little sick when i heard.
so starts the panting on the treadmill and the "faith by works" routine that leads to imho, superficial christianity.

Ahh what is it with self-rightious controling stepmothers? I have one too.. I tried to atleast FAKE I beleived in the garbage to get along with her..even that didn't work. So i'm moving to get away from it. Only way to be free unfortunatly go far far away. UGH.. sorry for your nephew!
