"We believe what the Bible says on the matter," when in reality the Bible doesn't say boo on the matter. Like the numbers 607 and 1914 do NOT appear in the Bible. I also love how "New light" is always quoted when the use it. They make it seem that the phrase appears in the Bible. I once had an argument with a sister who INSISTED "new light" appeared in the Bible. I dared her to find it, she has yet to get back ot me.

Sad thing is they taunt the witnesses with the infomation of what there fourmor beleifs were. Like the Proclaimers book. Anyone who reads that and how the religion started and where it is now. If they don't raise an eyebrow at that, then there not downing the koolaid by the glass there drinking right out of the pitcher.

Ya know did the Red Cross get into a stink when they did something similar with the World Trade Center. They had donations coming in for those people and ended up giving the funds to other people not WTC. I wonder if the Witchtower could get in similar trouble if it was exposed where the money goes. I which that conspiricy theory show would hit them.!

Angnus that whole transfusion thing is cause there tired of getting lawsuits. Allowing "fractions" takes some of the heat off them and will save them some money. I also think they are trying to get away from that as it is causeing more and more problems for them. And making them look dumber and dumber. Next step will be to say that having "parts" of the blood isn't the same thing either, allowing for plasma transfusions and such.

yeah I wondered where the 70 years were that Jersalum laid in ruins were too. since there so stuck on that.. but I did the math. If you take the year Jerusalum was distroyed as 587/586 and add 70 years to that.. you come to about 515..which is the year WT and History agrees that the Temple was rebuilt. I think having the Temple finished would be prophetic of showing the land was no longer in ruins. Makes sence to me! no bar graphs, timelines or egyptian pyramids needed....

I remember when I heard that from the platform (only it was a little boy). everyone giggled and thought it was cute. I thought it was horrible the child was TERRORFIED and crying cause she forgot her notebook. Something tells me that child one day will end up here..lol I don't get how they think that is a good thing to teach your child that...

who knows maybe more of them are dead than they want the dubs to beleive. and there covering up others are running the show now? who knows.. but ya it does look like the SAME picture. Some minor changes. But we know the guy in the art department have some skill and could probably do it. It's just creepy that there in the same pose and everyting especially the guys on the right there. *shivers* and is it me or do most of them look way too young? than the 90 something there supposed to be, or should I say that dubs are lead to beleive they are.

Anybody Know What Presiding Overseer's are Being Told at Bethel School ?
by flipper ini guess there is a special training school going on for presiding overseers according to my jw mom.
my elder brother went back there for a week training session .
he explained that they are doing this training first in the united states only for presiding overseers and if it works out well - they'll implement it across the world in other countries.. apparently he stated that the training they are getting is very detailed and to the point.
