why would god visit you and bless you in a religion you now recognise as false.

i`m just curious if such books as "life everlasting in freedom of the sons of god " " let your will be done on earth" etc.
are still available in the kingdom hall libraries and if they are then that should be a wake up call to all jehovah`s witnesses.. if they are not then that should be an even bigger wake up call to all jehovah`s witnesses.
the bible has never been altered in 2000 years under the direction of holy spirit.
Older halls will usually have them. Newer halls usually get them when an older brother/sister dies and leaves their books behind. I speak for North American English speaking halls. I can't imagine African and Asian halls, for example, would have much of a local supply to draw from.

Welcome to the forum!
The ones I've noticed here that say that they are anointed say it in the sense that ALL christians are anointed by Holy Spirit. I don't think that any one of them believe in a literal 144,000, or that there are two flocks of Christians.
PS. Though we do have one or two here who claim to be the Messiah... Let the reader use discernment.

animals are truly a gift from jehovah as the creator of all things.
animals have, since the creation, served as workers and companions for man.
"look out for the dogs" is not referring to canines; this term is used to indicate male prostitutes by some bible dictionaries/commentaries.

Some Bible scholars point out that the term "god" is used symbolically to describe male prostitutes. However, the clear connection between such animals and "workers of lawlessness" cannot be ignored (Matthew 7:23). The fact that dogs are associated with immoral acts should be of no suprise. One Circuit Overseer related, "I was visiting a small group of witnesses for dinner. While I was saying the prayer, their small dog came up to me and started humping my leg. Disgusted, I tried to move away, but the dog kept at it. To make matters worse, there was a second dog who started to hump the first dog. I was forced to cut the prayer short in order to get away from the situation. Later on in the evening, I noticed these dogs trying to hump other people's legs. Truly, dogs are an immoral influence. We are grateful to Jehovah that the Faithful Slave has provided new direction in this matter". christianity was birthed in a polytheistic world, inheriting from jewish roots the concept of one g-d. now, instead of one god for israel, we are offered one god for the whole world.
caesar (mortal men) was declared a god.
gods had powers beyond ordinary men, could grant requests, and demanded sacrifice and worship.
Biblically speaking, I notice the use of the word "god" as anything that people worship (including stomachs). The "god" doesn't necessarily have to be real.

the sleeping pill i took was in the form of them providing the information that made the bible come alive with the truth and insisting that they go by the bible not adding or taking away from it.
i had negative experiences from local brothers from time to time, however i excused them as part of being imperfect.

I am aso an active witness, mainly for the sake of my marriage. I do not believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are the one true religion on this earth.
In regards to Hebrews 10:24-25, Matthew 18:20 may shed some light on "gathering of yourselves together".

the watchtower says on page 5 of the 1985 edition of the kit:.
there is no definite article in the greek before the word god in john 1:6, yet the wt translates it god, with a capital g!.
The 1985 version of the KIT can still be ordered through your local kingdom hall. Not many know about it, so not many order it.

I would say "Happy one year closer to your death". When she asks why you can quote the scripture "the day of one's death is better than the day of one's being born", which tends to turn up in articles that say why we should not celebrate birthdays.
