  i just watched this clip on youtube....i can't begin to say how it made me feel.

  , i'm not sure who i am more annoyed about.

  the bloke doing the commentry, the punk shouting at a serious and should be respectful religious event, or some of the youtube comments that follow.. and i find this so disrespectful.

  KH 1st timer, could use some advice

  hey people, .

  i am soon going into a kh for the first time and i could use some advice around etiquette etc.

  i know next to nothing besides the fundamental beliefs of jws, i personally dont believe in any religion, and that stance isnt ever going to change, however i don't want to come across as rude or disrespectful.

  What is a good blu ray player to buy?

  Betamax for me every time- it has a big clunky top that you slip your 'entertainment' cartridge in- you then hit it down hard with a satisfying clunk......couple of push down buttons later (and a sprained finger) and hey- you're ready to go.....

  I would say go- I been out for years but still make an effort to attend the Memorial- it's an hour out of my life, and to be honest, I still feel it shows some respect. When I turn up, yes I am warmly greeted- I'm warm back too, generally the JW's are good people, and I wish them well as they do me. Plus I get to wear a dapper suit. All is good.

  WT is trying to scare off memorial partakers

  i don't know how many of you still participate in the sunday wt study, but i unfortunately still do.

  even though i was asleep half of the time, i did notice something i thought i should share with the rest, in case you haven't noticed.

  a lot of the paragraphs were worded strongly against partaking and used clear language of intimidation and discouragement toward anyone thinking of partaking.

  Is this really anything new- in 40 years of attending the Memorial- haven't they been saying the same thing in spending more than half of the talk on the clear distinction between partakers and non?

  I guessed lol. VI.....like I said, sorry to hear that mate. and thanks for your understanding on what i posted.It did mean something to me, and my question was what it meant others who once shared my hopes and beliefs.I don't want an argument, just was interested. I will be honest- still hold this belief, even if I don't follow it.

  I'm sorry to hear that happened to you VI. me- I guess I became immoral and just drifted off. lol. Even still, I haven't forgotten the sentiments in this video. It does make you think sometimes (well it does me!)
