as i said i have only seen two episodes so far and by what i have seen and what limited information i have with that and the japanese nuclear accident problem i know of i don`t want any nuclear reactors anywhere here on australian soil .. i think it has only been by pot luck that a disaster of major proportions has been avoided.. and that is not good enough .. we have had two warnings with chenobyl and japan ,what will the third one tell us ?.

I saw the whole series and thought it was very well done. Jared Harris and Skarskard were terrific. I was living in West Germany during the mid 80s and we knew more about the accident than most in the Soviet Union.
Mistakes were certainly made. It's a mini series worth watching

Historically speaking, there are some 30,000 pages or so of written Christian history predating 311, so you can look back to the 1st century and see where the church was and then walk it to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th centuries all the way up to the 21st century. You can clearly see the shift in Christ;s teachings, right?
I have not found any evidence of this 'great apostasy'. I have found many examples of people who wanted it to be true and would promote the idea based solely on emotion, but no proof at all what so ever.
If the great apostasy happened, you could say 'here, on this date [or year] this person/people changed the teachings and turned away from the true Christianity. I'm looking for someone to give a clear example of this apostasy that ruined Christianity.

No, it is not bad at all. Because you can choose to remedy that. It is up to you to get reinstated and the shunning will stop.

With so many evil policies and practices to chose from, I have narrowed down the most evil [in my mind].
It's their lying. Every other evil from the WTS comes from their continuing policy of lying. The sooner you realize that the Governing Body lies and lies and lies some more, the better. Then you can pull yourself away from their particular brand of evil... imho

evidently they have changed their creative day from being 7000 years per day.
all blood transfusions were taboo but now blood fractions might be allowed to be taken into the body.
vaccinations were sinful at one time but not now.. can you name other views or beliefs that have changed from being considered “truth” to no longer “the truth “?.
They used to believe in the worship of Jesus and even Christmas.
No more now as the light has gotten brighter....
before one who belongs to another religion can become a jw, one must officially resign from one’s former church in writing.
many who left their family religion to become a jw have been disowned by their families.
of course, jws consider this to be persecution.
So my brother and his family became JWs and got baptized and our family did not dis-own them. We initially respected their decision until we did our own homework. Then we were able to see their mistake, even if they didn't.
We patiently await their coming back to their senses, but we do not hold much hope because of the WTS teaching of going off to LALA land when presented with facts.
