Not just no, ....but HELL NO! I went thru the same thing at the same age, My (recently deceased ) dad's parents were trying to gain control of my dad's estate, trying to have my mom declared incompetent, etc. etc. But they still wanted to see me, & I them. My mom forbade it, & I fought round & round w/ her. I missed them. But today, one of the few things I KNOW my mom did right was to keep me away from these corrupt, thieving jw monsters. I thank her for it regularly. Say no, undermining parental authority, which you know they will do, is a very abusive thing to do to a child. You are the parent. She is the child, & should she choose to see them in 5 yrs., fine.

SOJ explain how your conscience allows you to post on Apostate site?
by LyinEyes ini am really curious as to how you will answer this soj,,,,,,,and any other active jw's who post here, even read here,,,,,,,,,because when i was an active witness,,,,,,,,i was taught that reading any apostate material was wrong.
i didnt even watch a tv show that talked bad about the jw"s for fear it was an apostate program.. i know if you are caught soj, posting here,,,,,,you would not have been reinstated( you were right?
), so did you tell the elders you post here?

Because so many of his/her comments are cruel, rude, & insensitive to other posters, not regarding jw stuff, but personal stuff.

First, as JWs we should not associate with those that are disfellowshipped or that are apostates, that is clear. I don't believe I'm associating with anyone by posting in this forum. I don't get into the "chit chatting", "fluff". I only get involved with Biblical topics
But getting involved in "spiritual conversation" is the one thing your NOT supposed to do even w/ DF people it's "ok" to talk to, like family in your home.

Uhh, at least in jail, your family is allowed to visit you a few hours a week.
However, I do agree, in a sense , w/ some of the things you say. I think parents that let these things happen, religion or not, are partly culpable. But if they turn around & help w/ the investigation, I think granting them immunity is in order.

Thank you for your kind words. & maybe I should tone it down. However, IMHO, Soj is'nt here to learn, or help bring people back to the "trooth". He, or she is here to get their jollies from pissing people off w/ extremely insensitive comments & not just on this thread. No benefit of the doubt, just arrogant "YOU BAD APPOSTATE" comments. No compassion. just an agenda. That being said, I have actually written nice things to Soj. However, when you call my bro, or anyone else for that matter who is suing the org. a "fat, greedy, pig" w/out knowing any of the facts, I WILL come out w/ both barrels blazing. IMO, allowing thiose kind of comments to go unanswered is tantamount to the same complacency that allows children to be molested all the time. -

Cruzanhart, Very sorry to use this post for a discussion w/ soj. I am very sorry for your loss, & having to deal w/ the usual cold, emotionless b.s. from the cong. the elders, all the way up to the top. No one should have to be lonely in their "golden years" & especially not chided by petty a--holes that are far younger, & have'nt gone out of THEIR way to go see this guy.
