  Total injustice. in my opinion

  Trayvon was a teenager who acted the best he could from someone who he perceived to be dangerous and threating.

  After it was realized by Trayvon that Zimmerman was not backing off from the first verbal interaction, that this guy was going to be a real

  threat to him, he went into his own act of protecting himself.

  This altercation was a typical fist fight, Trayvon didn't not have a weapon so to assert that Zimmerman had to use the gun

  to protect his life is way over the insinuation to the known facts.

  Incredilbly sad. Faith in humanity taking a huge hit right now.

  I read that demand for goods or services creates jobs. NOT demands from people looking for work creates jobs.Trying to say that people LOOKING for work creates jobs is just plain silly.

  Of course.

  Demand does not equal jobs in an age when most things are made with little ( or less and less ) human intervention every day.

  Conversely, without demand all that automation and human intervention, as little as it may be, will be useless.

  Productivity is up largely because of the increased automation in almost every sector.

  Not neccessarily. Human productivity is up, but wages are stagnant or even down. Downsizing, fewer unions, off shoring, longer hours, fewer people being made to do the same or more work etc etc etc.

  This is what years of buying into the supply side economics myth has done for us. Even China is beginning to look at raising wages to create consumers.

  Yup, and the problem is. That huge corporations create jobs elsewhere where they can find the cheapest labour because they want MORE profits for their shareholders. So yeah. They create jobs alright. But where? They get huge tax breaks, and are not contributing to the economy.

  Wha, only first degree murder includes premeditation, which doesn't have to be for more than a moment.

  I would probably say manslaughter, although after listening to some of the trial, I lean more toward 2nd degree murder than I did.
