There were indeed white nationalist groups at the April 15th tax march in Berkeley. Extremist groups from right and left love Berkeley. The AntiFa chick was punched in the face by one.
As for Free Speech, I think something between the USA and Canada is probably the most reasonable. That's my personal opinion. I see it as a matter of how far can you go in exercising your rights before you begin to infringe on another's. Or become dangerous. Some of you that are so outraged about this issue, how would you react to a group of Muslims having a parade on Main St. and waving banners espousing Muslim pride, and talking hatefully about the infidels? How about Black Lives Matter?
Ann Coulter is hardly having her free speech infringed upon because she couldn't take the stage in Berkeley. Not to mention they reconsidered and decided to go ahead with her appearance, but she refused. Perfect opportunity for her to make the rounds with this phony outrage on the right.
The very name AntiFa makes it clear it is a reaction to Fascism so quite obviously the Fascism came first.
Simon, please, you know that the parties did a complete reversal of place over the last 100 years. That was more about the South than the party. Republicans have been purposely cultivating the South and that particular hatred since Nixon. The Southern Strategy.
