after all, if death is forever, which is materialist view, then what does it matter if a seventy or seven year old enters the grave?

by cantleave in.....states that there is 95% certainty climate change is man made.
people are still saying we don't need to do anything about it.. if you were told there is a 95% risk of you dying if you don't change your diet, wouldn't you change your diet?.

Sorry hon, you're far more invested in this subject than I am. I'm totally comfortable with my position (and have been for 30 years). You obviously are not.
Pope is cool though. I'm sure it's all about membership, but if it does some good, more power to him.

Sorry LT, I'm not interested in the hypotheticals of god. I don't believe, and I don't believe my life is diminished accordingly. I think it actually might do the world a lot of good to put the whole notion aside.
I am impressed with the new Pope though.
