  support group in MN area...

  But these aching bones are two days from 40 (aaaaargh!)
  Of course, now that I'm out from under the watchful (prying) eyes of the organization, I get to celebrate my birthday.

  For all you just out or just thinking about it, B-days will make you smile (as opposed to any meeting I ever went to.)

  alright, this is one of those what was your favourite questions:.

  when you were a witness (or even if youre still reluctantly attached like me), did you have a favourite kingdom melody (why couldnt they just be called hymns by the way)?.

  I was just commenting to a friend the other day my recollections of the music at the KHall when I was a child. Sad, dreary, heartless funeral marches. BLAHH!!!!
  Hey, let's throw in some drums and guitars along with some lively singers.
  And about "Amazing Grace," it certainly must be to a JW. (Of course, Jws are amazingly without grace of any measure.)

  WTBTS Monitoring Discussion Boards??????

  just curious many say that the org monitors dbs, but anybody have concrete proof of this??

  oh by the way at the recent ca dbs were mentioned from the platform!!!

  the thought was "some jws were visting jehovahs witness discusssion boards and trying to correspond with some"...might not be exactly what was said(not an actual quote)...they mentioned put a doubt in your mind and start questioning your beliefs!!!

  If anyone has serious doubts about those stiff shirts monitoring sites such as this should get their head examined. Of course this is monitored. They need to come up with new material for their birdcage liners. (Oh, for you Brooklyn Bores, thems' watchtowers.)

  I was in the JW's as a kid but never got exposed to this issue. I now target shoot and have hunted. Where are my lost childhood buddies on these issues?

  My First Birthday Celebration

  my first birthday celebration.

  having been brought up in the organization since age 3, the only memory of a birthday celebration i had was an old photograph of when i was 2. in front of the camera was my sister and i, with a cake baked in a regular rectangle cake pan, frosted, and with two candles sitting on top.
