  Who is AGBM?

  the purpose of this thread is to tell everyone on this board who i am and why i am so different.. first of all, i have already apologised on another thread for posting zero drivel topics here.. i am a 29 year old male, born-in, baptised in 1998, df'd in 2003 for fornication, reinstated in 2008. i want to make it clear that i have never been a ms. after my reinstatement i continued to attend meetings with the same cong.

  but moved to another cong.

  earlier this year, reason being, the continued shunning by some hardcore self-righteous publishers.. i am still with the same cong until now, i go to meetings regularly, including taking part as well as giving bible reading talks.

  For those who saw flaws in Watchtower doctrine and left. Why do you not apply the same standard of examination to your current beliefs?

  i know that many left because of a lack of real love or for other personal reasons.

  i would never belittle those reasons for exiting, they are as valid as any other, but if that describes your situation then perhaps this topic might not apply so much to you.. i left the watchtower because i came to realise the doctrine was flawed.

  i was in my mid 30's before my mind begin waking up and i started to develop basic critical thinking abilities.

  faith is not really something people should feel the need to criticize.

  Really? What about these statements:

  "I have faith that killing this fag is the right thing to do."

  or

  "I have faith that I will make it into heaven after I kill myself and all these civilians."

  just a refresher on the jw explanation of the what number 666, the mark of the beast, really means:.

  the mark identified.

  immediately after disclosing the number 666, revelation mentions 144,000 followers of the lamb, jesus christ, who have his name and the name of his father, jehovah, written on their foreheads.

  PS, Jesus and the WT Organization are the same thing in the Witness theology. I agree with you, but that line would never work with a witness.

  witnesses, for some reason, feel they deserve massive credibility in bible predictions and interpretations.

  enough that they feel they have to right o be considered an universal authority.. their claim to fame comes from, mainly, their stance on blood, the trinity, immortality of the soul and hellfire.

  maybe this is actually what the bible teaches... but to me, it is a moot stance in regards to the position they claim to have a right to.. the witnesses have been heralding the coming of christ for well over a century.
