  i'm disappointed in jwn for doing what the wt does.. b-rock simply stated that he questions how people follow ray franz like jws follow the society.. no big deal.

  I didn't know what a JW was, until I fell for one

  when i fell for him i was completely unaware of his upbringing as a jw and only became aware once he decided to leave a few months back.

  being raised without much of a religious basis, besides the typical western christian exposure, i have researched, read, attended groups, read in this forum, to try to better understand him, and jws, but i am feeling at a loss here.

  he just recently left the jws and now i am experiencing this struggle with him; i am wondering how much of our problems can be contributed to this transition.

  i was talking to my disfellowshipped friend today , her jw die hard mum is best friends with the sister of the child molester that raped my 13 year old , and abused two others (that we know of )one was abused between 11 to 13 years the other was 13 , my friends mum was tallking about "bad associations" to my friend the day before , my friend said "well you hang around with the family of a paodophile , who still support him and you get your car fixed by him " her answer was "that is just buisness " and its unfair to call him a paedophile , he has done things wrong but that word is a bit strong !!!!!!!!

  i was livid , what morons that religion has in it , he is a convicted sex offender ,but thats ok because hes not a paedophile !

  A fully immersed Dub can't fathom how you feel, that part of their humanity is completely shut down.

  The best you can hope for is to make a scene any time your daughter is not around and anyone sympathetic to the pedophile is around.

  If he's not been convicted then you'll have to be careful of slander, if he has been convicted go friggin nuts. Put a big sign on your car and park near where he works or lives. Make everyone that is not aware vary aware.

  Ray Franz has had a stroke

  just setting the record straight.

  there is another thread that notes a claim on wiki that said that ray has died.. he had a stroke yesterday, and is in the hospital.

  he is still alive.

  update on why the Elders have been so busy trying to contact me

  they have stopped by our house multiple times (we have been gone or just ignored their knocks) multiple phone messages requesting it is urgent that i call them back .

  (screened all calls lately ).

  today the phone rings and i tell my husband screw it i am answering and putting an end to this .. the elder on the other line is not the one that has been stopping by ,but rather my husbands ex-nephew through marriage .

  This was eye opening to me. I knew the "name" but didn't have a connection and why you were concerned. When I got out of the Borg it was just before Franz left. Last I knew he was still part of the problem.

  until today

  His condition does not sound very promising but there is still reason to hope and pray that he can recover.

  It's encouraging to see the impact he has had on people since leaving the borg.

  I heard his name a lot when I was a kid, I'd imagine my dad had met the guy back in the 60's or 70's.
