  this is not a joke.

  i must be crazy or losing my sense of smell, but every time my wife is brewing coffe it smells like skunk to me..

  i am remaining "in" for the time being, for my family, so with that said.... i fear my niece (9) and nephew (6) will be assimilated into the borganization therefore i try to covertly undermine their indoctrination hoping that if they choose to be a witless it will be just that, their choice.

  regardless of their path, i know my sister and bil will not plan anything for their children's futures, i don't want them to needlessly struggle because they never got the opportunities a normal child wouldve and i believe that, in or out, a higher education at least gives them a chance, i was thinking of secretly starting a small college fund for each of them.. what do you think?

  would any of you parents be offended by this?

  You're doing a great thing. That was a contention i still have with my mom; that for all her anger toward the society for keeping her from going to college, she never did anything to help her children to go. Several years ago I started buying savings bonds for my nephew for college. I told him I am willing to pay for him to go, but there is no way my money will be used for a bullshit teenage JW wedding or bail/criminal defense.

  I celebrated nurses week even as a dub. Maybe because nurses week is tied to Florence Nighengale's birthday, hardcore dubs don't want to celebrate it.

  i have been meaning to post these up since i signed up to jwn but, until someone mentioned the zone talk that is happening tomorrow in new zealand, i had forgotten!

  i used to be a prolific note taker during public talks, assemblies and conventions.

  as i became more awake to the truth about the truth this died off.

  Arggh! I wanna kick the speaker's ass for the "giant 1" alone. I was raised in poverty because my parents didn't go to college. Saying Jehovah will look after JWs materially is a terrible lie. My mom will have to work until she dies due to always having low wage jobs and no pension.

  i am very surprised that a very pretty lady that is i/o psychology doctorate major, she would like to go out with me on date.

  she knows that i do not have any college degree.

  to be honest with you, i am pretty much intimidated by her intelligence.

  Lol, Wannabefree! No I'm still welcome in most JW establishments. Although, since I was running so late, I had to go to the closest 3:30 meeting, which was at my father's hall where I am very well known, and not well liked by the elder body. I hate the brother who did the WT, and he knows it, so there was no chance of me being called on. I'm sure they were glad all I did was text and not make a scene.
