this is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..

But I do. I remember the qualities I demonstrated my whole life as a JW. I am ashamed of my behavior in the name of Jehovah. I judged, condemned, was, merciless, I lacked love to the world in general, and I pioneered doomsday to everyone that was not a witness.

True Christians DON't need a written law to tell them that lying, stealing and murdering is wrong.
Folks that don't even believe in God don't need a written law to tell them either. You conscience will either "accuse" or "excuse" you. Romans 2:15
And yet in the wilderness, how many Israelites actually made it into the promised land. I remember NONE that "originally" left Egypt except for Joshua and caleb. So written didn't even do them any good. Evidently it wasn't EVEN on their hearts.

That is wonderful that you do. You are described in Romans 2: 14-16.. That law is already on your heart you just don't recognize where it comes from. You may also be described in Matthew 25: 34-40. That makes you a "sheep".
But as aguest mentioned, and as I too need help with these things as some do not come natural, I need the leading our our Lord to demonstrate these qualities. It is through Him that these qualities will be perfected. I personally don't choose to be perfected through any others means. (Been misled too long in that org)

If one is demonstrating/practicing.....
Love, kindness, mercy, joy, peace, long-suffering, forgiveness, compassion, pity, faith, mildness, self-control ...one is hearing/feeling God
They may not be hearing it inside loud enough to put faith in it, but they are hearing. If they continually ASK, SEEK, KNOCK and go through the DOOR (Christ) in FAITH that voice will get louder.

we all memorized the definition of faith... faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for...yadda yadda.. it seems like more and more as time goes by and our scientific knowledge base grows, we need less and less faith and fewer things can be attributed to god.. do you think we need faith or is faith just a word we use to feel ok about being too lazy to keep looking for the answers ?.

i am still physically in but am completely out mentally.. i was curious for those who spent some time in the borg while being mentally out or are still in that position, what is the worst, hardest or most awkward parts... for me i intensly dislike attending the meetings however its bearable as i can just let my mind wander, but field service is awful.
i cannot try to bring someone in to a group that i am trying to plot a way out of.
so now i try my best to either spend the day driving around to others fruitless rv's (we have somewhat rural territory) or eating out at an extended breakfast or if door to door cannot be avoided, i try to work alone and not ring bells.
Actually I am here because I spent my whole life inside actually living it because I "DID" believe it was the truth. (I guess i'm still learning a lot of people are fenceriders for real)
When holy spirit showed me "Truth" and what the WTBS really is...How could I turn my back on our creator and his son and ignore the call to
"Get out of her my people (babylon the Great). I did not want to share with her in her sins and receive her plagues." I did not want to leave
Egypt and experience all the miracles just to look back and begin murmering. Didn't want to flee to Mount Zion when our Lord said, "When you
catch sight of the disgusting thing standing in a holy place to flee to mount zion. To quit touching the unclean thing and THEN I will take you in as
a son/daughter and then.... linger half way up the mountain or around the perimeter and still be captured and or put to death when the roman armies attack (spiritually).
So I chose to be disfellowshipped and labeled an apostate and lose entire family on both sides. And I remain here on this site because there are
many who have been wounded and abused that have chosen to leave for the same reason or others and are crying out for "real truth" and to
be led to our true healer, our Lord and master who will take them in and send them holy spirit and will teach them and guide them and NEVER
mislead them the way that organization did in the name of Jehovah! His yoke is truly kind and his voice truely LOVE.
My wish as his servant is to help them. Some inside are inside asking how to be released from this bondage. Others are inside actually because of fear (fear of what will happen). So if you must remain...remain......

FELT it
HEARD it
TOUCHED it
It is not "Blind" (faith) as some put it.
But it is NOT with the physical that one experiences this "evidence". It is with the spirit that this is "REAL"
(using spirtual eyes/ears/removing the flesh/curtain out of the way)
But is it easy?? of course not or there would be mountains movin left and right......

so far when i have seen the word 'betrayal' or 'betrayed' on these boards, it's in reference to how we feel betrayed by the watchtower society, family, or individuals within the organization.
we all understand this feeling well.
i can relate to many of the sentiments expressed.. but the other night with my therapist, towards the very end of the session, the word 'betrayal' came up in reference to myself.. the therapist noted that i seemed to be 'holding back' with her.

Your "CONDUCT" is the greatest words you can now say to show you can live the Christ without the "We" (organization) Worshiping truly in SPIRIT (not what see can see or where we go) and TRUTH (Jaheshua/...I am the way/truth/life)
My husband and I have lost all our family inside but we have been blessed to stay in union with our Lord and come out together.
My our Lord and master comfort you and give you peace that excels during this difficult time.
