This is something Iv'e been struggling with since I DA'd in february of this year. My mother was speaking to me during the whole DA process just fine. The a couple of weeks after she totally limited contact with me. I had told her my reasons before this, of why I did not believe in the Bible, thus the Organization. I gave her everything, the bad prophecies, sexual molestation cases against the watchtower that no one ever finds out about, the increasing number of partakers each year at the memorial, etc., She still believes and goes to ALL the meetings, goes out on service TWICE a week, etc. It hurts me that she is wasting her life. It hurts me more that she does not even speak to me like we used to talk, so I cannot continue to open her eyes. My brother still doesn't speak to me. This hurts like hell. I want to SCREAM at them and tell them that they are being foolish!!! I cannot do this though because it will make them adhere even more their ideas and see me as an evil apostate. It really is a bad situation. I guess I can only concentrate on my husband and kids. My husband is still a JW but I am sooooooooo getting him on my side. He has only been to the memorial and to a couple of meetings since I left. He will be going only one day to the district assembly which is GREAT!!!! He still has some emotional ties to the jw religion , but like I said I AM WORKING ON IT!!!!!!!!!! At least I have saved him it seems.

when you realize that it's unrealistic to expect someone in the wt to ever leave, and when you see the damage it does you to keep hoping, and to keep trying to get them out, how do you manage the pain?.
what do you do when you know that someone has spoiled the only life that person will ever have, yet you can't reach to them?.

This story has made me cry and get very angry again . I dissasociated over a month ago and since have not been to the KH. MY 7 year old daughter who had a visit with grandma ( zealous JW) asked me yesterday (LOOKING WORRIED AND VERY CONCERNED) when are we going to the KH again? I asked her why she was asking and she said that grandma said that if we do not go we will not live in paradise and not be "alive anymore". I controlled myself at hearing this the best that I could. Inside I was screaming and crying. HOW DARE THEY DO THIS?????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 5 children to keep away from this shit!
I still have not confronted my mother about this, I have to know exactly what to say to make an impact on her to keep her from doing this brainwashing ever again.

WTF!!!!???? That is exteremely offensive to read. My sister who is year older than I is mentally incapacitated since birth. She is not demon possesed. It makes me angry that it can even be suggested that she or persons like her might be. The watchtower has knowledge about NOTHING.

I Went Back To the Kingdom Hall
by Clint Bussey inlast year i went back to the hall while even though i was disfellowsipped 9 years ago and never intend to get reinstated.
i went back to talk to all my friends and relatives and blantantly ignore the disfellowshipping policy.
i chose to go to my jw parents hall where they are in "good standing" and regularly attend meetings as they ingnore their son.

Accidentally Got an Email from a JW. . .

this happened once before, a few months back, i just deleted it, but found it curious that he hadn't removed all "known apostates" from his address book.. .

LOL!, That's right I agree. I love your first instinctive thought on how to respond. It is simple, short, positive, and it will throw him for a loop. He already knows you are an apostate and he never took you off his contact list. If you respond like how you thought to respond, what's he gonna do, tell on you? You are truly free and you should respond so he can see you are very happy outside of the borg. No truly believing JW thinks that's possible. This is an opportunity to make him think a little.

They'll be reading about Jesus, but they won't be LIVING like Jesus. I'm still in the process of DA and everyone around me is acting very un-jesus like. It hurts, I feel like throwing them all the finger , but then I wouldn't be like Jesus. ARGGGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
