Wouldn't the predators on the ark have eaten everything by the time the 40 days was over?

let say noah did manage to get all the species into the ark... about half of them would have been predators and the other half natural prey.. are we going to belive that they went without eating for 40 days and nights?

or the ridiculous theory as the wt would have it that noah fed them nice tasty bales of straw which they happily munched on?.

and even if one of these two exhuses were true, when the animals were let out of the ark into a world now deverstated by a flood, then wouldn't they have continued eating eachother???

As a JW Kid Were You Expected To Get Baptised By Your Parents/ Congregation

here is a quote from a ex-jw about this subject, i myself had alot of pressure from my family to get baptised and finally gave in at 14, wish i had left them a present on the way out of the pool that floated..at the dudley assembley hall .

i can't justify my entire family (parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandma) and friends shunning me because i chose not to uphold a dedication i made at twelve years old.

sure it was my "choice" to get baptized.

I wanted to get baptised because two of my friends in the cong' got baptised without telling me & I was miffed........so I guess it was peer pressure.

I was stuggling with masturbation & I knew I was gay at that age so thought if I got baptised I would really feel Jah's spirit on me as I tried to do his will. I really tried to feel his HS on me as I took my vows of dedication, of course nothing of the sort happened.

My mother didn't want me to get dunked as I was only 15, my father didn't have a lot to say as I recall.

hi everyone, first i just want to say if it wasn't this forum, i'd be baptized!

i haven't managed to successfully end my studies with a zealous jw.

she uses everything against me to brainwash me into believing i need the org.

how do you respond when you walk past a jw or bump into a close jw friend who broke of contact with you?.

i remember when one brother was disfellowshipped, he himself honoured the arrangement and walked past the brothers with his eyes fixed to the floor.. im going to be disfellowshipped in 8 days, so i just thought id ask you all.. personaly, im going to be kind and cheery as i always tried to be with people.. timmy xxx.

Hi Timmy just be your usual beautiful self & if they cannot look you in the eyes it is because there is a battle going on inside them.

Let the burden be theirs..........it's not yours to carry.

Actually elders impose the burden on the sheeples but do not carry it upon themselves. The excuse given??

'As they are shepherds they are exempt from the act of shunnng & need to keep contact inorder to guide the individual back to the congregation'........I kid you not. This was told to me by an elder I was quite close to.

She'll get brownie points for getting you there, just tell her very FIRMLY but CALMLY that YOU will decide for yourself if you go or not.

Being in a motel room when feeling unwell would be hell.

Do you really think she will let you stay there at the motel after she's got you this far???
