it seems they can't even let you get disfellowshipped in peace !
i've been out for three years now, and i heard that i'm a whack job, i'm gay ( i'm married with a son ), that i lied on a judicial committee, and these rumors were started by my ex-fiance and her meddling congregation.
when i heard about these things i called my p.o or c.o.t.b.e ( mind you i'm disfellowshipped when i called ) .
Not to sure what has been circulated, like Quentin it was more to do with how we were treated.
I did tell the PO that I would take legal advice if they mentioned any of our names off the platform, seems up to now they have heeded my advice, hehehe. Stuff has been said but I really don't care...not any more anyways.

Shelby has apologised on quite a few occassions and not neccessarily because she was at fault. She will apologise so as not to stumble any of the body of Christ, infact she will apoloogise so as not to stumble others who may be searching for ...well whatever they are searching for at the time. She really is a great person and I feel her treatment is uncalled for. I have mentioned mob mentality on this board because it does happen, it's not the first time, I doubt it will be the last.
Some who know Shelby came to her defense, then they received some nasty treatment too, even Tec who is known for her gentleness got slammed.
Shelby is respected and loved. She has brought much to this forum and is missed when she leaves for whatever reason. It may shock you all but the girl does have a wonderful life away from this board.
Anyhooo I have a pile of ironing to do and I think I'm typing away so as to avoid doing it.

a few of you may remember that my wife had a kidney transplant early last year.
since then the kidney has been incredible, giving her a new lease on life.
it's really been good to see the light in her eyes that i had missed for quite a long time.. the counterpoint to this good news is the problems we have had with our son coltin.
Hope everything works out for Coltin and pray he makes a good recovery, all our love to you and your family.

this is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..
About time this thread was locked....it's become an excuse to abuse people. Some people are just vile and despicable.

just received an email off shelby to say that li-li arrived home a few hours ago.
she's in a bad way, rushed to the vet's as she pee'd blood all over the floor.
she has three small punctures, badly bruised and is doped up with pain killers and antibiotics.. the vet think's that due to her injuries she was kicked as well as being involved in a dog fight.. shelby is on full alert for any signs of internal damage loss of thirst/appetite, listlessness, more blood in urine etc.
Good news, poor puppy. Dogs are tough and their pain levels are so much higher than ours....still nasty though. Oopsie am I being too dramatic

(i was 6) we have raised three wonderful sons now 27, 23, 21 who the youngest was almost 7 when we left and we were disfellowshipped.
(for so-called apostacy of course)and since then all of us partake of the christ by eating and drinking the manna and his blood.
