every line is so well crafted and the story, published in the new yorker magazine in 1997, is much more than two young men falling in love.

one of the major themes of the movie is fear.

i think FairMind has a very ironic screen name.
does he not have friendships with women because he doesn't want all of them thinking of him as a sexual partner?

i am trying to build a list of hipocrisy with in the borg.

i dont mean things like the un scandal as people in the hall wont have heard of that, but smaller stuff that goes on all the time with out the rank and file noticing.

for me materialism is the biggest hypocrisy both by the org and by individual witnesses.

only 1 and she was an elderly lady who died not long after she was baptized. i do think her study brought her some peace at the end of her life, i certainly enjoyed her friendship, she was the highlight of my 2 years of fulltime service. she knew i liked well water so she brought me back a supply from her sister's and i used to sit and sip on it while we studied. she kept it ice cold for me. i picked her up for meetings in my horrible pioneer car. those were the days.
