  Homosexuals and Evolution

  on monday past, the la times health section had an article on homosexuality, especially the traits visible in young toddlers.

  it also delved into possible causes of homosexuality and the latest research and theories.. there was an interesting comment in the article something like "it's a peculiarity in evolution that homosexuality occurs because it precludes procreation.

  " in evolution, whoever produces the most offspring are the ones who pass on their genes.

  Why are homosexuals not weeded out by evolution?

  Tribes with the best decorated caves were deemed superior and were not as likely to be attacked by their neighboring tribes or by tasteful wild animals.

  Why are heterosexuals so obsessed with homosexuality?

  Homosexuals are a super race capable of mind control, kind of like the Jedi. Oooooooh Luke, come here baby and bring that wookie friend of yours.

  Why do homosexuals like catching more than pitching?

  Your arms don't get as sore.

  The mind is a very powerful organ of the body. The whole JW experience can leave one mentally stressed and stretched. A constant preoccupation with persecution from other humans and demons can really influence your mind.

  Lots of thoughts we are able to control while awake come back in our dreams as a release of stress and tension.

  Get the stress out of your life, that is the real demon most of us face daily.

  sitting behind my computer a few mornings ago, i was doing the share of reading that i do on a daily basis, sipping my coffee, minding my own, when an instant message appeared on my screen.

  call it second nature, i responded as i usually do.

  Hi Chuck,

  I have been stalked by several people on the internet. One, a crazy guy who was studying with the witnesses who latched on to me in the God is a Myth chat room that I used to hang out in to discuss philosophical topics.

  He would change his screen name 5 or 6 times a night so that after I blocked one name he could harass me with another.

  I found that the most effective way to handle this was similar to how one should handle an obscene phone caller and that is to give the stalker no reaction at all. They get off on your anger, your fear, your frustration, so don't play their game.

  Very similarly to how Fred, You Know and others get a charge out of reactions to there shocking posts.

  I too used to fairly regularly have this type of experience although it sounds like yours are much worse than mine.

  I would have a bad dream, half wake up paralyzed and not able to move or to speak. It stopped happening to me about 5 years after I left the Watchtower society.

  For me I think it clearly coincided with me not taking religion and life so seriously.

  I tend to not believe in demons or ghosts or angels for that matter.
  It seems to me that the more people are preoccupied with such things the more likely they are to have these types of experiences.

  My suggestion to you is to keep yourself busy, get a hobby that tires you out physically, so that at night, you will tend to sleep deeper and have less fitfulness.

  I would however, also suggest seeing a doctor before making major changes to your routine.

  Preposterous.

  If someone believes that something is wrong or unhealthy, why would one do it or be involved with it being done to another person?

  One of the main reasons I left was all of the equivocation and bending of rules to suit individual's needs. Either it was we were all in or we weren't. Once it became clear to me that we weren't.

  It was adios for me.

  607-1914 being phased out?

  years ago, when i first figured out the problems with the 607 chronology, i began to think that the society was mentioning the 7 times link to 1914 less and less in recent pubs.

  after all, the knowledge book gave it less space than the live forever book, and the fluffy require brochure doesnt mention it all.

  could it be, i wondered, that they are gradually phasing this teaching out?

  I would be willing to bet Mark McGuire's jockstrap that by the year 2014, the whole 607 BC 1914 and even the doctrine that 1914 is the beginning of the time of the end will all be gone.

  Its an interesting idea. However, there would be a lot of topics that they wouldn't be able to really cover.

  However, I disagree that there are not intelligent people in the watchtower society. Indeed, I think there are a number of very intelligent people there.

  Stupidity is not what keeps people witnesses, desperation does.
