Where did Jesus say that? As I recall Jesus said stuff like, Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, and do not worry about tomorrow, and don't god take care of the sparrows and the lilies of the field.
Please quote the scripture where Jesus said, diversify your portfolio and make sure you've got a good bit put away to live on until I come and deliver you.

a lot of us are seeing all the untruth of the borg.
all the nonsense of the chronology and existents of a religious authorities like the fds/gb.
Just like the Protestant reformation did not destroy the Catholic Church, the fact that a number of people leave the witnesses and even if these people organize will not destroy the Watchtower Society.
Social evolution resembles biological evolution. Change progresses very very very slowly. The Watchtower Society will be a part, a small part but a part, of the ongoing human social evolution for a very very long time.

no offense intended for the anointed ones on this board, but ive always compared such professed ones to martin jensen, who professed nothing for himself except that he wasnt good for much.. this iowa corn farmer became a jw in the 40s, was promptly divorced by his wife, and moved to the southern tip of texas, the end of the world.
by default he became the presiding overseer of the english unit, although he never gave a public talk.
there were many unsuccessful attempts over the years to replace him with a more suitable shepherd.

Bravo. Thank you so much for sharing this story with us. It reminded me of the many Jehovah's Witnesses I have loved during my life. Those who had a true love and caring for all people and spent their life trying to help them and by this make the world a better place.
These old humble dedicated brothers and sisters are such a contrast to the badgering vulgar ones we have on this site who claim to represent Jehovah.

yes, who was the strangest person you ever met in the field service, or what was the strangest experience?
i once met a man who claimed that he had invented everything, including the hovermower, the hovercraft and the xylophone.
he said he created the hovermower out of dustbin lids attached to an old lawnmower.
There was the woman who said animals floated all around her bed at night.
There was the guy who threatened to kill me who looked like his face had been ripped on and then sewn back on Frankenstein style (not kidding).
There was the attack hog that I have mentioned here before.
There was the lady I studied with whose house was so filthy that you could barely breathe. There were mice and roaches everywhere so I kept my feet bouncing up and down to try to make sure nothing crawled up my pants legs. We could only study for about 15 minutes at a time.

so, the point is that jesus has not told his anointed ones certain things yet because the hour for them has not arrived.
