Approximately 750. I buy about 20 new albums per year and the same number of backcatalogue items.

Simple Questions that Jehovah's Witnesses cannot readily answer...
by joenobody insome do not like to discuss doctrinal issues with elders etc.
when leaving the org or studying feeling inadequate.. .
i present for your consumption some very simple questions to ask that reveal motives and objectives to use in lieu of doctrinal debates.

I guess I meant what I thought, not what I wrote. You're supposed to read my mind.
Sorry

Since reading Fast Food Nation and watching "Super Size Me" I really haven't eaten any fast food in a long time. But if I had to it would be this Canadian chain.
Their fries suck though.

Jim_TX the point about the Internet is that they would potentially give this information out to MORE people. I didn't say replace the mags - rather that they should augment their distribution with internet publication if they are "giving life's water free". Oh wait, Jesus does that, the WTS charge$.
Scully - nice going. Now the Bethel spies will have a revelatory idea that they will bring back to the GB for more revenue stream opportunities. ;)

Idea for when "Beware the Voice of Strangers" is studied
by joenobody inafter reading the "beware the voice of strangers" article, a thought occurred to me.
it has been suggested in the past that a number of board members ought to attend a particular meeting all on the same day.
why not on the sunday when this article is studied?

I like SeattleNiceGuys placard silent comments idea!
Farkel - you nailed in on the head too about the GB being total strangers to the Rank and File.

Itsallgoodnow while I do think having printed literature does help to badger their Bible Studies, I think the greater reason is simply that they need to maintain a paper for paper exchange (paper magazines and books for the publisher paper money).
Think about it - if you were a JW in North America where most of the donations come from, and you could just download the magazines in PDF format or read them online, would you be as inclined to worry about donating for them?

Why not on the Sunday when this article is studied? Tell me that wouldn't be a major statement that might give the R&F anything from the heebie jeebies to actual pause for thought about the tripe they are being fed.
Thoughts?

Paragraph 13 is a disgusting insinuation equating apostates on Internet chatrooms with "perverse" people who prey on children on the Internet. In other words, when apostates aren't trying to subvert JWs faith, they are perverts luring children into lurid sexual acts.
This is sick reasoning.

I have a comment re: paragraph 9. The Serpent told them that "God knows that in the very day of your eating it your eyes are bound to become opened" and subsequently in the Bilbe verse that "they would be like God knowing evil". Then they question he motives of the Serpent in saying that.
HOWEVER if you read verse 22 of Genesis 1, God says "The man has become like one of us knowing good and evil."
Umm... was this "stranger" Satan telling a lie according to the Bible? Seems to me he told the TRUTH - they came to know good and evil as promised and that God was withholding that information from them! It kinda reminds me of how the Society says that people who listen to apostates have often had major doubts raised in their minds with the inference being that "yes - apostates actually have information that will cause you to question the Society".
Appalling article. The leaps in logic they use are horrible.
