the elders want to come by for a visit
by Evidently Apostate inthey caught up with me at the meeting today which was the first one i have been to an a couple months.
i also missed the co's visit and the circuit assembly and havent been out in fs in 8 months or more.
i only went today for my wifes benefit i personally have a hard time listening to thier one sided warped view of the world.

Increase in demon activity?
by Igot2bme inwhen i first started studying i was told that i would notice that the demons would try to stop me from recieving accurate bible knowledge.
well i never really witnessed anything unusual like objects flying through the air, bleeding walls, increased nightmares or something of that nature.
almost all the people that i know who have become baptized have a story or two about this having happened to them.

Many years ago, back in the late 60's, my brother, who recently died, married Colleen. At our mother's insistence, Colleen started studying with JW's, and manipulated my brother to keep the pressure on (eventhough my brother was still df'd from when he was a young boy).
Colleen was told that the demons might begin to attack her in various ways to make her stop studying "the truth". She began having horrible nightmares about demons and armageddon. She understood it wasn't demon attacks and attributed all of her newfound anxiety to all the bullshit she was being told by the JW's. She stopped studying. THEN the REAL demon attacks came.
The demons were my mother, my brother, and my aunt. They all started talking to her viciously and hatefully. They called her every thing but an Irishman. They spread rumors about her. My brother became violent and very abusive with her. Un-effin-believable.
A few years later, Colleen, who was more decent than anyone in our family, would permit my mother to have my neice and nephew over to visit. One day my mother slipped a My Book of Bible Stories into their bag before Colleen came to pick them up. When they returned home, the kids told their mother excitedly that gramma had given them a cool book of bible stories. Colleen took one look at the book, took it from their hands, and tossed it into the trash.

It would be effed up of me to commit to a JW female, when my heart isn't necessarily into worshiping the faithful and discreet slave.
Indeed, being of an apostate mind and leading a JW sister on would be a lot like marrying a woman to cover up and supress homosexuality. Unless you can convince her to invite another fella into the bed, you are going to be one frustrated mo. In other words, unless you can be upfront with her and tell her how you really feel on the very very off and unlikely chance she will be open-minded and see things your way and follow you happily out of the org, you have the potential to mess up a perfectly good woman's life, not to mention your own.
