Were you made to rehearse what you would do/say at Armageddon etc?

i remember my parents went through a phase in the 80's of rehearsing what i would say in court if they were trying to get me to have a blood transfusion.

i remember the key comment they wanted me to say was that it would be like being raped, and then i had to be able to descripe what rape was.... i was about 7 at the time...(!).

i also remember having to rehearse a nazi style interrigation senario, as they thought i might need this at armargeddon when the nations "will turn on us!

I was never made to rehearse these kinds of scenarios. Mother was never that creative. Hell, we never even did fire or earthquake drills.

However, she did tell me on more than one occasion, one occasion was enough, that, during the great tribulation, "they" might come and take us away and put us into a room where they would threaten to kill her in front of me if I did not renounce my faith. Stuff like that traumatized me. Well, she is gone now, it wasn’t Satan that got her, it was the JW blood doctrine that did her in, I am alive, no great trib, and I have already denounced the organization of JW’s, so where does that leave me? Oh, yes, that leaves in a place of rationality, irony, and amusement.

though i no longer believe the fds is indeed appointed by god, i guess because of what has been taught to me all these years through the wtbts, i still make an effort to try and look at both sides.

But nowhere do we read that those brothers first, in a skeptical frame of mind, checked the Scriptures to make certain that those letters had Scriptural backing, that the writers really knew what they were talking about.

This is pretty blatant.

They are threatening JW's to ignore Scriptural admonishment and not do any fact checking or indepth study of the Bible apart from a WT publications.

i must say publishingcult spent a lot of time producing this video about the six screens march 12, 2011 conference call.

the call lasted approximately five hours and many people called in and we discussed a number of topics.

for reasons we will not bring up,the nude picture that appeared in the 1927 watchtower publication "creation" and which we brought up on this conference call deeply disturbed puplishingcult.
