I dont know about 'earning' their keep when they live with such wealth, luxury and privilege. I think the Queen herself has been hard working but the rest just have a financial ball at our expense ...they already have enormous wealth of their own. Another realm it really is....
I saw Diana when she was newly married on a tour....they did treat her abominably.

i know i only posted on the board 8 days ago- a little over a week.. at the beginning of this week, i went from hopeless and depressed, feeling like i had no way out.. .
but throughout the course of 8 days, i have been shown kindness that i haven't seen in years.. i have been reached out to in ways i didn't even know was possible.. in a little over 8 days, i went from feeling alone in a dark abyss of a world, to having an entire support group, that i know cares about me and understands me and exactly how i think and feel.. in one week, i have mustered up the courage to speak up to a friend who i have known for half my life, but was too afrait to tell about my doubts.. i have come to realize that, he, too is planning to leave this organization- never telling me because of fear i would reject him- and likewise for me.. i just wanted to notify all who have helped, that you will not be forgotten- i would have never imagined this much support when i first submitted my account information one month ago, unsure about my entire life.. .
i don't know how else to put this, so i will put it rather frankly:.

thanks for letting me vent.
it's been quite sometime... i've had a baby and been moving around for months because of my husbands job (14 flights since the baby was born) and now that i have time to breathe, i need you again.. my mother and i have been on the rocks for years!
Thanks to the Org I am shunned by my 5 adult children...I wish I could go back in time ...I certainly wouldnt let a JW near any of them...

anyone remember that?
i learned to read on that book.there were some very disturbing images,like the earth opening up and people falling into it.like upside down ladies and hippies.id love to get a hold of one and peruse it with a friend and some herbal medicine.maybe there is one in the attic?anyway,that and the image of the snake talking to the beautiful,bare shouldered eve,who was holding an apple,made a big impression on me.any else have any faves from that book?is it still being used?.

Findingmyway - How sad for you...it hurts to read it...if I was you I'd keep my child away from any JWs for safety's sake for both your futures...be happy with your own family hun...

apparently people ( like me) from the home counties of england don't have an accent, its just english...?.
for the record i would say my accent is rather like kira knightly.
I have a Northern accent even though I'm actually Welsh...but I can do a Welsh one if I need to...

that would suck.. in fact, the first thing i do in an alien abduction before i give in to the implants and anal probes is to make sure they're wired to the max.
any "superior" civilization that doesn't have hd plasma and bluetooth can bite me..
If people are going to go off either permanently or just for a while I like it that they tell us...its polite and stops people worrying and wondering ...

okay so if anyone can give some imput on this, i would really appreciate hearing different opinions!.
(its downright impossible to make decisions, big or small, these days....sigh).
ive been thinking alot about the possible consequences and outcome of joining in on a community like this and using it as a form of therapy or a support group type setting when struggling over the witnesses.
I've learned so much on here...about the Org, about the Bible, about the elders, about people, about myself...

after thinking things over i have realized that the time has now come for me to say goodbye to jwd.. some personal reminiscing about all of the people i have enjoyed talking with on jwd reminds me why it is time to go.
simply speaking, most of my good friends are no longer here.
