  signs of the end of times - CO talk

  the co yesterday had proof, that we are definetely in the last seconds of the end times.. he said: "never in the history of mankind, has all the signs of jesus' "end times" happened simultaneously".. earthquakes have happened, pestilence same, wars same, etc etc............. but now all these are being seen together and alarmingly so.

  brief history...my mother (love her dearly) is the most devout (okay, brainwashed) jw i know.

  wouldn't hear anything that would cause her to doubt.

  my dad converted after 20-some-odd years, so i grew up with the "unbelieving father", my mom had the "unbelieving mate" and we were henceforth treated like dirt in the congregation...plus we were poor.

  Morbidz - If its hypocrisy she hates there's so much to tell her ...have you read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz? He highlights so much of it in there...eg the Malawi v the Mexican bros issues...just a thought ....and all the best at getting through to your mum...

  If you were in the Governing Body, how would YOU change the generation prophecy?

  i personally would lose the overlapping terminology and just say that the generation refers to the entire jehovah's witness movement.

  jesus is basically saying that the movement would not be gone when end comes to fruition.

  this will give us hope during the great tribulation because there will be times when our extermination seems imminent.. what about you?.

  I would issue a sincere apology to all witnesses and their families who have lost/wasted their lives deceived by the 'generation' teachings and I would admit that noone knows the time ....

  due date was july 5th.

  Hello Goldensky...thank you for your lovely pm. Ibiza was fabulous. It was so so hot (in the 40s) so we actually spent a lot of our time in the hotel pool...it was a super break but only for 7days so not enough time really, which means we'll have to go back (good eh?). You were right its a beautiful island from what I saw...incredible sunsets...I didnt want to leave and it did us both good ...
