Why not tell her openly that you care about her but you really don't want to discuss religion anymore? Say you respect her right to choose hers but you don't want to be involved in it at all.

i didn't notice it before but now i noticed the next day she began to give me verses about the "truth".
it recently got worse with her religious debates lately i've been able to prove her wrong with most of them.

I try to take everyone at their word NC, that includes you. I am biased now yes, because I detest bullying, and I see it happening. Even now when everyone is being so careful to cloak their jibes, because they've gone too far too often, it's there, in full view.
EE There is no comparison, I haven't witnessed you being driven off the forum by bullying. Moreover, as I said, when I've seen you under attack on here for hypocrisy I've defended your rights, so actually I've proved your points of judgement to be unfair, by my previous actions. You've made remarks here to me tonight that aren't palatable but, hey, I haven't attacked you for it. I'm letting them go because:
1. I believe they're a side issue 2. I don't rate facetious remarks as worthy of my time and I won't justify them by defending. 3. I acknowledge that any association with AGuest means that some on here feel justified to hurl unpleasantries.
I'll be damned if I let any group/gang determine by their resultant attitudes who I can associate with. Been there, done that.

I can see why you view it this way, Loz. But think about it. Myelaine had just been corrected by Ang. That was pretty much the final word, and I certainly did not post any disagreement to it. Should I have piled on to a point that had been clearly made, actually dramatically made? It should have been the last word. But then Aguest came and posted some very mean things about Myelaine after Ang had spoken. Personally I would have let it sit, since the final authority had already handled it, but that is not everybody.
So here is how I looked at it. Try to see it from my eyes for a moment. I felt that Myelaine had already been pretty firmly put in place over some remarks. It was done.
Ok I hear what you're saying and will attempt to take you at your word. It's very difficult to do when this scenario is so often repeated here, and there is a definite, obvious, blatant bias against AGuest. It's undeniable now, and when some pretend it isnt happening its ridiculous. But whatever. I wanted to reply to Myaleine but didn't because Angharad spoke for us, so I didn't feel there was a need. The fact that AGuest did, was up to her, and I agree that she shouldn't be expected to keep a higher standard, she's human and insults offend, just as Outlaw said. If you'd left it there it may or may not have been brought to a conclusion between the two of them. By rushing in to tackle AGuest you took a side, in effect, when it really wasnt needed. It detracted from Angharad's points too. Then the rest joined in. Unnecessary in my view, but sadly I repeat, totally predictable.

You didn't call her on them here though NC, you said you disagreed with her beliefs, then called AGuest on what you perceived to be hers. Why? Couldn't you have let the two of them sort their own disagreement and not take a side? Then in comes Cofty and EP, and all within minutes.

I always try not to judge you EE or other elders who post here while leading double lives. I've made a point of saying so on here more than once.
I couldn't do what you do, if I was hanging on in the WTBS for my family then I'd keep a very low profile, I couldn't subscribe to their hierarchical corrupt systems, I couldn't be a hypocrite, but.... I'm not you, I've not walked in your shoes for a month or even a day.
Once you start judging people adversely here though, for their beliefs and actions, then it kind of starts to be something that sticks in the throat, that you feel qualified to judge others here. Maybe it shouldnt. It just does.

I still am a WT elder... and your still passive agressive and insulting to people. However since the owners of the board seem intent on supporting your tirades and trying muzzel anyone who attempts to question your bitchy nature... well you have free reign it seems. Just know my dear one (pieces to you!) that always enjoyed our exchanges. I enjoy it more when you leave crying about people being flyies though....
