  Any thoughts on the real reasons for droppng the 'school"

  my thoughts are.

  1. they want to avoid being made to comply with any laws that come with anything classed as a "school" especially a school with children enrolled.. 2. the mid-week meeting has been dying in the ass for years and needs a revival.

  i predict happy -clappy-sing-a-longs to be included in the program.. anyone else have any thoughts ??

  WOW.....thank you for the response. This is a rumor I hadn't heard........ that is honestly mind blowing. How will they indoctrinate weekly??

  before i was fully awake (i was never really) i would use the time at the meetings for day dreaming, for solving work related problems (in my mind) or just simply not fully listening to the talks.

  after awhile everything just sounds all the same to you, nothing new.

  think about it, i was really disappointed when they got rid of the announcements part, because actually thats the only part, where you could have heard something new (when the announcements where not from the kingdom ministry of course).

  That is really the bottom line isn't it?

  If more JW's used their minds, studied and listened......they would wake up!

  They don't study....they don't read....that generation of JW is already out (as seen here daily)

  This is what I personally tell JW's when we discuss the issue of Universal Sovereignty:

  A bully moves into your neighborhood and tells you that your'e a weak, pansy ass loser in front of the entire neighborhood. He consistently taunts you calling you a pu**y in front of others in the street.

  You say it isn't true and to prove it, you tell him he can torture, rape and beat your daughter to prove that you're strong enough to handle anything. After all, you're very concerned that the other neighbors respect your name!

  How long into watching your daughter brutally raped before you act? This goes on and on and on for years.....you just sit and watch .... proving your toughness to the other neighbors.

  A lowly, sinful HUMAN wouldn't do this for half a second....but a perfect God with the power to stop it would?

  Absurd doesn't cover it...........it's the most disgusting, stupid, insulting doctrine in all of JW Land.

  There are seriously no words for how stupid this is.......

  As a former long time elder.....its is just awesome to see those elders still 'in' realizing what they are a part of. His comments on elder meetings and the cash grab have been witnessed by every former elder.

  Anyone seen this new "Bad Association" video at the Convention yet?

  i read on another thread (on another forum) where someone mentioned a truly guilt-inducing, cringe-worthy, "bad association" video that was played at this summers rc's.

  here is how that person described it:.

  we have the convention this weekend and many jw families are arriving.

  one family that ive known for many years from new mexico stopped by to visit my mom.

  hes been an elder since the 80s.

  No matter how much time goes by, I still get blown away by how many elders know NOTHING about their own 'religion'...... his comment is SO STUPID....your answer? Brilliant.

  Yeah.....I'm going to go out on a limb and say he won't ever be 'looking into that'..... never mind that the entire teaching is the basis for his 'faith'

  Geoffrey Jackson's Golden Apple watch INVESTIGATED

  i went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.

  the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .

  the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

  what labels the watchtower judicial system as a completely kangaroo court is the secrecy in which they take place.

  i was asked this question by 5 elders who sat as judges over me over the charges get this "speaking against the organization" this was truly the most kangarooie of the kangaroo courts ever.

  when they first invited me to this meeting by 2 elder at my place of work i asked them what the charges were and was told speaking against the organization to which i said right the charges down on a piece of paper and sign it to which they refused.

  Its been done many, many times. I know a guy that did it ...and we had a party and listened to the entire taped meeting............ It is staggering to see how uneducated elders are on how to deal with people, serious problems....or there OWN damn rules!!!!
