I need help with digital imaging!!

we are trying to get the book cover done for my hubbies book, for some reason my digital imaging programs arent allowing me to cut the image out.

can anyone help.. i just need someone to take the image and cut it out clean so just the harley is there, if you can help e-mail me .

I certainly hope she wasn't his wife.....because that would make the apostel Paul a liar on saying people would be best off to be like him and The Christ. That is single.

Besides if she were then groups like The Free Masons (Old timers not new ones who don't have a clue what Free Masonery is about) and Mormons would be correct in many of their beliefs.

Both those groups believe Jesus had a wife and children.

One belief both Masons and Mormons also share is that the bible is not entirely correct and is only good as far as translated correctly.

I think most who feel that way about the bible do not wish to attach themselves to groups like The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Later Day Saints or The Free Masons.

I think someone who is as loving as Jesus was knowing he was to die would not have taken a wife whom he would then be leaving behind.

Also, Jesus made arrangements for His mother's care but, not for Mary Magdalane's.

Being the kind of man he was I think he would have taken care of His wife as well as mother.

I wanted to thank all of you, nightwarrior, Analysis, Kingpawn, mouthy, TR, JT, and Banshee for taking the time to give me advice on where to go from here.

This started out as nightwarriors thread and turned into an advice for column for me.

I spent so long as a JW I have never thought of myself going anywhere else but at the same time I love God and The Christ. So when I find what I believed for so many years was right is actually not.this became a dilemma.

I love what mouthy shared about herself when she said, I have a relationship with God..... I am so happy I am not under man made rules.

I think that is very important for me to build. As A JW your relationship with what The Society Teaches. Not with The Creator Himself. Teachings can be good in any faith or even philosophical school, but this is cold and impersonal.

JT brought out how we were in a marriage relationship with our Religion. As members in this marriage we were faithful and they were dishonorable. Treating us badly blaming us"leaving us feeling numb, dazed, at a lost like what THE HELL is going on"

As he pointed out and I feel he is correct in saying choosing another RELIGION now would be like being on the rebound. He brought out about himself, taking a break from religion in general instead of trying to find another religion has been the best thing,

Banshee agreeing 100% with JT and showing after time she was able to move on , Today, I don't go to church, per se...but my boyfriend and I found a little independent church close to our summer place up north where they have a Bible study. This showed me how there is hope I could and would heal enough to be able to gather with others in worship to Our Creator. Something that has been important to me since childhood.

Thank- you all very much!! You have no idea how much you have helped me.

Oh, and nightwarrior! You are a very caring and loving person!

I think your idea to make a worldwide brotherhood is very wonderful! Something all should consider as long as it doesnt involve a Corporation!

(Apostate Music) Birmingham 6 - Die For Jehovah

i'm rather surprised that nobody has ever posted about birmingham 6, a european industrial act from the late 90s.

they are ex-witnesses and their tracks are the closest thing to "apostate music" that i have ever heard.

unfortunately, i haven't been able to find much information about them on the web, but their albums are still available.

I so love the lyrics!! They made me think.....that is I realized I never made a good JW.

I always wondered why we held our CHILDREN to the teachings of our faith when they were not old enough to decide for themselves.

I was always freaked when I heard of some parent kidnapping their child from a hospital and causing their death.

I had thought once the courts ordered the transfusion that was it.cause you were under the laws of the land. I thought it was taken out of your hands and THANK JAH for that!

I semi-understood in an emergency a parent making a choice for their child but, often a child was needing the transfusion because of cancer. I thought why not let the child speak with the doctor and decide for them and even be given the chance to change their minds through out their treatment. It is their bodies after all.not mothers or fathers.

The one thing though about the fact JWs did not take blood all these years.it made it possible for experiments on living humans as to alternatives. There are over 50 bloodless hospitals in U.S.A. and 2 of these are in the Chicago land area. I am not saying holding someone to something Jehovah did not major punish others for was right. I am saying that this blunder had a benefit to the rest of us and The Red Crosses ever-dwindling supply of blood.

Through out history radicals have helped the rest of us medically. In Ancient China monks would take different herbs and administer it on themselves. They did revere life and would not test on animals. Because, they did not know the nature of the plants they tested on themselves they have documentation, graphically detailed of the horrible deaths of individual monks. Today many of us benefit from these horrific tests.

Also, The Nazis and their evil diabolical scientific experiments on humans and twins in particular have benefited the rest of the world. I once read a report in which a scientist was having to come to grips with the fact his work was a continuation of a Nazi Scientists experiments. It was very chilling for him and yet he felt he had to continue in his work to save future lives.

What makes The GB most criminal is their use of the Christian God to control others right down to their small children! Children who are easily manipulated and would believe in things such as the tooth fairy or a Santa Claus. Children cannot make such a catastrophic decision for themselves. They just wish to please their parents and the support group they were brought up in. These children who would give their lives for the cause are at the same time told they are not JW by birth but cannot make that decision until older! How contradicting..die for our teaching or well shun you and your parents will be disappointed in youbut your not officially one of us ether!! Not till your older and can decide for yourselves!! What double talk!! How manipulative!!

Did anybody get The Bell?

during the thocratic school during our tuesday meetings, i dreaded hearing the bell.

*ding* someone had run over 5 minutes and had to cut their talk short.. this part always disturbed me.

nevermind the fact that these people worked hard to prepare their talk about something they felt was worthwhile, they have to be humiliated and cut off in front of the whole congregation.

Ok, I have a missed the bell storyRrrrr..This one ticked me off back then!

In one cong I was in we had this wonderful Brother who had never been to school!! He learned to read upon becoming on of Jehovahs Witnesses.

On top of the illiterate problem he also had a severe stuttering impediment.

Well, they assigned his talk during the COs visit in the MAIN Hall!! This had to have made him much more nervous poor man!

Anyway he gets up to give his talk reading from note cards and the bible with really bad reading skills, plus his horrible stutter.so of course he can not finish by the time the bell rang! I was completely shocked when the brother actually stopped this obvious struggling brothers talk in the 5 mins instead of lovingly let him continue. Still on TOP of that in front of the whole Hall and the visiting CO can you guess what he was council to work on was???? ON HIS TIMING!!!!! I was so angry I could have screamed!! The poor bro ran to the back of the Hall into the mens room and stayed there for a bit. When he finally came out my family and I went to him and told him how WONDERFUL he did!! His effort with all he had to contend with made his talk one of the best I had ever heard as far as I was concerned!

I have also, heard the bell ring for those whos native languages are not English and were struggling to speak..and little children doing their bestetc.

I could see timing it and telling someone how much over the 5 mins they went but, humiliating people who do not intend to become professional speakers in besides me!

They just want to learn to teach the bible not become a politician or a stage star!

I could see if we all belonged to The Toast Masters Clubbut this was supposed to be our worship not our Oscar winning performance.
