  email campaign against the watchtower

  after reading the thread "sharon rowe to be df'd tonight" on this board, and reading the replies, i felt so sick at the watchtower organization that i felt the drunken urge to send the watchtower a very short (but straight to the point) email saying "f**k your organization and all your false prophecies, do you ever think about the many lives you've helped to destroy (if not totally destroyed?".

  i sent it to [email protected] - it got returned 30 seconds later.

  anybody else have a direct e-mail adress for this lying, evil, money grabbing cult?

  Hey figureheaduk,

  How about mass mailings...where all us evil apostates and our families send mail daily on and on.....never ending through the old fashioned post.

  Doesnt have to say anything much......it is just the fact they will have to open them daily in order to find their true mail !!!

  If everyone would really do such a thing it could be over whelming to them.

  Maybe if we made up a printable agenda of reforms we want. Then every letter they open would be just another list of changes they must make.

  Could be cool if people could really organize like that.

  My daughter has pointed out to me on more then on occasion that Jesus and the apostles regularly let the Pharisees know what they were doing wrong.

  I think this is better then e-mails.

  Just heard from a friend....

  i knew this was going to happen sooner or later.. while the local congregation has shown no interest in why i haven't been to meetings in over a year , i do have friends from afar (witnesses) who i feel do care about me and my family.

  i heard from one of them today who tells me she has, what the doctors say is, a very serious case of breast cancer.

  anyways - besides telling me all about that she had heard that i was highly inactive and wants me to start getting back on track because she wants to see me in the paradise.

  In a sense I understand what youre going through.

  The Sister I work for did not fire me when I was dissed.

  Instead she spoke with one of her elders about the situation and he allowed her to keep me on.

  This Sister is an invalid who can do nothing for herself.

  When 1 st I was dissed the plan was to get back but now I dont wish too. The whole idea of returning to more abusive from cold hearted people makes me cry.

  Every time I speak with her on the phone or see her in person, meeting attendance and family study are what she asks me about.

  Meeting attendance has gone way down to none! So I avoid answering but family study is great as we have a family bible reading minus WT Propaganda!

  It made her happy we are reading the bible still; she wants me back and has even cried to me about it.

  I did look up for her some crazy WT articles and asked her to answer best she could since we cant speak of spiritual things. Blatant racism did not seem to faze her but as they say, The Seeds Have Been Planted!

  It is difficult to know what to do when you love someone inside and cannot out right tell them The Truth of The Troof.

  Please everyone on this board do not send money to anyone.

  If they will give their address call their local charities and townships.

  Find out where meals are each night as most towns or counties in the U.S.A. have some place the poor can eat dinner every night.

  Call the homeless shelters as some have doughnuts and coffee each morning.

  Some towns have programs where you can purchase food coupons for the poor or donate to local food pantries.

  What happened for Tatiana on this board is awesome but most appearing in dire need on the net are not like Tatiana in honest need. Most appearing in dire need are cons.

  A good con doesnt even ask for help. He relies on your human decency to step in when you see (or read) a fellow human is in need!

  In Chicago it happens at the bus station regularly. A person starts freaking they lost their ticket to Colorado and crying their dear old decrepit auntie will be waiting and worrying about them.....you get the picture....there is always some good hearted people who get taken in on the scam.

  Please everyone here always be good hearted but, be cautious too.

  Thankz Dazed for bringing this out...I was about to write a long thread on it.

  I am one who has been suckered enough to have learned from my mistakes and I can see the cons now. So maybe what I lost was really my tuition in How TO Not Get Scammed 101

  when we were in the org, we had to watch our language, and speak correctly and never swear.

  people knew we were jw's just by the way we dressed, but also by the way we talked.

  I dont watch my mouth because my 12 year old does!

  She has a swear jar in which all who violate her law (guest or family member) on profanity must put a quarter in with every offending utterance they dare spit out!

  I about never use any such colorful metaphors but we live with my parents and both of them do! LOL

  When her father visits she gets quite a few quarters from him!

  The joke is she uses portions of her swear jar money to buy practical jokes so as to cause her unsuspecting family to have to continue to donate to her "Ban Foul Language Ministry Fund." Much the way The WTBS invests in the making of weapons so as too keep war alive and people afraid of the worlds emanate doom.

  ok, bro-in-law came and picked me up at 9:15 am, drove 45 mins to anderson to what used to be the ss office which is now a medical clinic and had to call the ss office to find their new location and found it next to the national guard armory.

  went in, took a number which was 84, the person being served was 81. surprisenly not alot of people in today (maybe it's the weather, it's cold out there today) waiting in line.

  being in a ss office like i used to remember when i first applied for ssi at the age of 14 while in center on deafness school was like waiting for a new dl and plates in a bmv office.

  I am sorry for your bad day.

  What a horrible thing to have to go through.

  In my opinion those in great need should have some emergency help while the long-term help is being evaluated. U.S.A. is a very rich country and its integrity can only be measured by how it treats its most neediest of citizens.

  Have you gone to Man Power or any other temp service for work? You could get one if not 2 temporary work assignments. Weve all done it in my family at one time or another.

  You can even apply to 2 Temp services and have 2 jobs! When one assignment is over you go back to the office and receive another. As a single mother I have enjoyed this kind of work as I could have off when the kids needed me as long as I gave 24-hour notice so they could send another employee in my place.

  Whats great about Man Power is they even have training classes for computers and such!

  Also, I do not know the laws on this one but here many school bus companies hire drivers and bus driver aids. Most of the positions start at $ 7.00 and hour for an aid. (Someone who sits, watches the kids and makes sure they behave while the bus is moving)

  ever see those movies where people become zombies who want to eat other people's flesh - and the others who see them are so freaked out by it, the braindeath of those they knew and all, that they start shooting them because they can't cope with zombies eating people, or people becoming zombies.

  i kinda feel like that when i hear words like "the faithful and discreet class" .

  When I was a little girl my Catholic relatives believed Jesus spoke to the Pope.

  They are from Latin America.

  I have an Italian Uncle (from Milan) who studied to be a priest. He is now around 75. When he went to seminary they taught Jesus spoke through the Pope.

  I also saw in a program about Nastodamus where he bowed before a then monk because he had a vision this monk would be Pope. In that program it said Catholics believed God spoke to the Pope and people thought God gave Nastrodamus his predictions.

  Thats why I wondered.

  I know the modern Church keeps up with the times and there for could have changed these beliefs.

  I always enjoy your answers and threads on this forum once again, Thanks for your answer.
