I'm planning on going to the tanning bed this afternoon, so I'll look at the link later...much later.

we've built a social network for fake bake.
they're keen to alert people to the dangers of sun beds.
they're offering a gift to the first 500 people to sign up to the network, including adding a profile photos.

coz then i would at least be resurrected in the paradise.
horrifying and sad..
Newborn, Mickey Mouse, Lisa, I am sorry to hear about your experiences.
I have parents that very seldom come to visit my family. They are both witnesses. I was born in the watchtower, and found out it was not the truth maybe 20 years ago. I thought that the reason they were somewhat cold was my not believing anymore. I now believe it is a personality thing. I think they may come up with excuses why they don't come to visit or call that often. Whether its the watchtower rules or the weather or whatever. I think some people find excuses to ultimately convey there true feelings. I don't intend my comment to mean that this is typically the case with everyone though. Just my personal experience.
I think you're right. I think my family is/would be the same too. They just aren't people persons. It doesn't bother me as much anymore as it used too. It is what it is.
I've moved on. I know that they are really the ones missing out. I have my real family, (husband, children, grandchildren, real-life friends, and ya'll here) lisa
if you had to choose between wearing a magic dog collar that would allow you to live forever, or dying a natural death and perhaps having a hope of resurrection, what would you choose?.
here is the story.
please humor me and read before answering.. suppose you were told that all disease is caused by an electromagnetic imbalance.
It appears as if my choice has to match the 'controllers of the buttons'. Or else...I die. Am I right?

Then I'll pass on the collar. I rather have control of the buttons.

Can we choose the magic collar and control of the buttons?

most of us came out of a christian based faith and a lot have since attached themselves to another christian based faith.
why is it that christians think they have the truth?
what makes it any different from the jw?
I never understood that "loosing faith" thing.
The other day I had someone tell me it was a "choice" to believe or not.
I said, then if I get to choose what to believe, then I'll choose to believe in Fairies.

horrifying and sad..
Several years ago, my dad called me and said I WAS dead to him.

if you don't, you can send your doorstops to me.
i'll douse 'em in rum, brandy or bourbon and then have them with a cup of tea.. *hic*.

there were actually people crying during the last prayer !!!!

lisavegas:LMAO on the quilting bee!.....and yes..........it is just the social thing that made it more tolerable than the other meetings......but i can see everyone in as circle with no books in their hand and lap.....all sewing a patch...or knitting........lmao!...........oompaSooo...from reading these last two pages, the only thing that will be missed is the social aspect of the Tues. meeting. Am I correct?
Maybe someone can get up an old fashioned quilting bee. That would be way more rewarding.
Stop laughing at me, I'm cereal. lisa
