  Newborn, Mickey Mouse, Lisa, I am sorry to hear about your experiences.

  I have parents that very seldom come to visit my family. They are both witnesses. I was born in the watchtower, and found out it was not the truth maybe 20 years ago. I thought that the reason they were somewhat cold was my not believing anymore. I now believe it is a personality thing. I think they may come up with excuses why they don't come to visit or call that often. Whether its the watchtower rules or the weather or whatever. I think some people find excuses to ultimately convey there true feelings. I don't intend my comment to mean that this is typically the case with everyone though. Just my personal experience.

  I think you're right. I think my family is/would be the same too. They just aren't people persons. It doesn't bother me as much anymore as it used too. It is what it is.
  I've moved on. I know that they are really the ones missing out. I have my real family, (husband, children, grandchildren, real-life friends, and ya'll here) lisa

  The other day I had someone tell me it was a "choice" to believe or not.

  Sooo...from reading these last two pages, the only thing that will be missed is the social aspect of the Tues. meeting. Am I correct?

  Maybe someone can get up an old fashioned quilting bee. That would be way more rewarding.

  LMAO on the quilting bee!.....and yes..........it is just the social thing that made it more tolerable than the other meetings......but i can see everyone in as circle with no books in their hand and lap.....all sewing a patch...or knitting........lmao!...........oompa
