disfellowshipping
by Jokemyster insince the organization has recieved "new light" regarding the 1914 generation, and completely changed their view on this, does this mean that.
all the former jehovah's witnesses who were disfellowshipped years ago for the same view the organization is now teaching will automatically be.
accepted into fellowship again?

accepted into fellowship again? Were these ex-JWs in fact disfellowshipped for truth and knew things that the GB did not?
What about the "new light" on blood and those that had been disfellowshiped over these issues?Do YOU think the Society ever taught anything scriptuarally incorrect? Do YOU think the Society is teaching anything scriptuarally incorrect now?
come on talk to me tell me what YOU think not what you have been told.Edited by - jokemyster on 25 May 2000 13:20:24

thanks to all who responded..still makes me wonder if it was inspired by god or man..
What kind of confidence can anyone have in an organization that has rejected almost all of the teachings of its founder and first two presidents for the first 63 of its existance?Edited by - jokemyster on 25 May 2000 13:8:13

The Holy Spirit
by Frenchy inokay, i'm interested in what everybody thinks on this.
i believe that for the most parts all religions start off with a good motive, i.e., to provide a forum that will help people to serve god.
(basically).

Greetings, yet have problems
by Dubby ini'm married, have a wonderful, but "unbelieving" wife.
i have three kids, all of whom are honor students and very responsible.. now my dilemma: none of my kids are the least bit interested in being jw's.
i took them all to meetings even as babies without the help of my wife or anyone else in the congregation.

celebrate your life and the wonderfull job you have done with your children,...this is what I am talking about..all the guilt? where does it come from? I also used to feel guilt, but since my grandma died I really figured it out that "they" are wrong, she doesnt need a second chance to prove herself..so I started to look around and I did find hate bigotry, evil etc out in this world, but I found it in the Cong also, at least its honest out in the world..we can choose for ourselves, and I have chosen a decent path with my life, I raised fine kids and I am a GOOD person, so why would I not "make it", into what ever is out there in our afterlife to make?
another thing I take issue with if JW'S are the choosen people, who said they are? the WBTS?
who gave them the right to sit in judgement of me? and my family and neighbors and friends?
they tell everyone that THEY are the ones that will inherit the kingdom, again who told them that? it says the meek shall inherit the kingdom of God, it DIDNT say the Jehovahs Witnesses will inherit the kingdom of God exclusively.....
these people are some of the questions I asked and was told I was not good association because i asked to many questions and I should wait for the answeres....oh yea of little faith I was told..
what the hell???? little faith? but but but, I have a brain God gave me one and oh yes brother your right I am woman how dare I ask you again this simple question...pray more? ok been doing that for weeks and this voice said to me "ASK QUESTIONS"...............I did and the true God answered me ...Bro Snively says there are pills for that get help...hahaha I did..I got OUT. -

wow some people DO get IT!..some of you have summed it up so well...I believe in God..not in man made organisations.
I really take issue with the blood fractions, I think this is such an old antiquated issue, it shouldnt even be an issue, it was all so sybolic and dosent hold up in the "now" -

I think (no I know) the end for me was when my grandma died, she was as fine a person that ever lived, she raised 12 kids, was a hard working moral person, never ever did one thing wrong, and they tell me she wasnt good enough to inherit this earth..she will be reserrected and given another chance..WHAT crap, her god, my god knows she was a fine person, so what other chance? huh? dont get it..so I asked about this and the bottom line was well she wasnt a JW..well what does that have to do with it?, so I asked so many questions and was told to pray or go out in service more (none of it helped) and no one wanted me around as I constantly asked questions, with no satisfactory answers..they just started telling everyone I was "bad association" hahahaha what crap, miss moral married for ever and ever was bad association because she asked questions, because she thought for herself..
why cant YOU people start asking questions, and stop relying on WBTS for the answeres?
