This is crazy. JW's will love and eat this up, sure of the legitimacy and superiority of "God's Organization" when in reality it's a cult trying to control the narrative.

Experience from member that woke up family

i remember seeing experience where someone woke up their family using the family worship/study.. i believe i first saw it years ago on freeminds but i also thought that the person was a regular here and shared the same info.. i can't find it.. if you know what i'm referring to and know where i can find that, please direct me.. thank you..

You May Now Embrace the Bride!

just yesterday, a pimi jw that i've known for years told me that at the end of a wedding they recently attended in pennsylvania, usa, the "brother" that officiated the ceremony concluded by saying to the bride and groom, "you may now embrace the bride.

no kissing.

just a hug.

I just asked a family member who attended a JW wedding last weekend. They did indeed include the kiss at the end of the ceremony.

I imagine the wedding with the embrace was requested by the bride and groom. You know how sheltered these kids can be.

My wife would have probably requested such a finale, perhaps even a handshake, if we had married in a KH. She to this day won't do so much as hold my hand in front of her mother.

i know there are several posts about witnesses and non-witnesses in regards to relationships.

i couldn’t find anything specifically that spoke to me, so i would love some third-party advice and thoughts.. i have never been someone to pursue a stranger from the internet.

earlier this year, i became friends with someone on a video game.

A 22 year old JW is often (not always) emotionally stunted due to little interaction with people outside of their faith and restrictions that don't allow the progressive steps of increased responsibilities as they grow.

If this young man is feeling conflicted, expect him to try and convert you. If his family is rooted in the faith, difficulty and conflict is on the horizon.

Is anybody going to Lifest this weekend?

lifest is a christian music festival in oshkosh, wisconsin, usa.

i'm taking my 8 year old daughter and 7 year old grandson (jw) to see the band skillet.. they are a christian crossover rock/metal band.

i like this band and the music is safe, the kids love watching their videos.
