  SUPPORT GROUP IN NORTHERN IRELAND

  hi guys as you know ive got my mom out.

  mow im going to end the jw influence in my life by sending a letter.. i am going to offer my limited services to talk to people about leaving jws through an ecumenical group i know.

  but ive talked it over and thought i would like to help jws and ex jws in my area.. if you have any thoughts on this, on how to go about it, and anthing i might need to know please say.. if your in my area and are interested say here and when i arrange a meet up in belfast most likely we will talk.. cheers.

  the day before i went on holiday i was talking about my upcoming marrige and i mentioned that jws didnt have to marry in the past.

  she wouldnt beleive me so i lent her the big penton book to prove it.

  all i can say is this.

  i keep dropping little hints that might interest them, and i allways point out the lack of love in jws these days. and that the only time they study the bible is in the bible reading which they give to children and "weaker" men.

  then get them to read anything they are interested in. once they pick it up they will read it all.

  and ask what jws do for the sick and weak in tgier hall. if its like mine sweet FA.

  and pray if your inclined.

  the day before i went on holiday i was talking about my upcoming marrige and i mentioned that jws didnt have to marry in the past.

  she wouldnt beleive me so i lent her the big penton book to prove it.

  i left the country and phoned when i got to the hotel i was staying at bout 5 hours later.

  "ive read 155 pages son" ................

  i came home 2 weeks later to hear.

  "im not going back to the tuesday group study son, thats it"

  "do you want ray franz book mom ?"

  "yes"

  she read "In search of ......" and i heard,

  "im not going back ever!"

  "do you want ray franz first book mom ? "

  "yes"

  she read it again in A DAY and i went up to see her knowing she may be upset.

  the recycling bin she has which can hold 250.00 litres was full of books. she ripped off all the covers in case as she said "the garbage men want to read them. you know all those experiences they tell you about how people became witnesses son. i dont want to take the chance."

  funny thing is our garbage is recycled as toilet paper!. honest.

  CANADIANS ONLY

  ive been threatening to move back to canada for years now.

  and i finally picked a date of next year with me and the (then) new wife.. however im getting a lot of talk from people who have been outtheir recently, and still live their that its very hard.

  ive seen houses for sale at about 60 percent of northern ireland prices and jobs seen available and pretty well paid.

  Hi all

  ive been threatening to move back to canada for years now. and i finally picked a date of next year with me and the (then) new wife.

  however im getting a lot of talk from people who have been outtheir recently, and still live their that its very hard.

  ive seen houses for sale at about 60 percent of northern ireland prices and jobs seen available and pretty well paid.

  but im hearing from others that you cant afford cardboard boxes in toronto or vancouver where i want to go. and that healthcareis crap. with no government help. ive heard car insuranse is high too. and crime is bad.

  i dont know if this is true (i hope not) but please help me with honest answers.

  so heres what i want to know. if i had 80.000 dollars to bring and was able to earn tradesmans wages, say 250.00 a day. would i be able to set up happily in canada ?

  well first off ive found the last post i put up and it had 20 repliesso sorry for reposting.

  my only thoughts are this.

  if you can get a witness when they are feeling bad about the "truth" then leave a little titbit for them to think on they will eventually ask to read the books themselves.

  ive found a nice church and im getting married. YES
