I highly doubt it. When a post is removed from a mod or the poster himself after they have submitted it, the bottom portion of the post will say who modified the post last. I'm not seeing a "modified by" insertion. I'm not sure why he is doing it. Attention maybe?

I really think it's more about image control and risk management than anything else.

Of course it is. Let's take a look at a few snippets from the BoE letter, shall we? ---
While all baptized brothers are ministers, "it is preferred that congregation elders, men well spoken of in the congregation..."
In every case when couples request the use of the Kingdom Hall, the elders should give consideration to the reputation of the couple in the community, making sure there is nothing that would reflect unfavorably on the congregation.

It is unwise for eldels to perform weddings of worldly indlviduals who are not seriously involved in the activities of Jehovah's Witnesses. How could an elder be sure such ones are Scripturally free to marry? What effect would an elder's doing so have on others and on his own reputation in the congregation?

It should not include any person "whose scandalous life-style grossly conflicts with Bible principles" or whose conduct would raise questions in the minds of those attending.
The handling of weddings reflects either favorably or unfavorably on the truth and Jehovah's people.
Your doing so each time a request is made for an elder to perform a wedding or for the wedding to be held in the Kingdom Hall should enable elders to avoid serious, embarrassing, or disturbing situations that could bring reproach on the congregation or the Kingdom message.

Now was this "tent" camping, or did you stay in a lodge or cabin of some sort? Were showers readily available? If not, did you use the stream or river to bathe?
