You'd probably get your ass kicked for being a disrespectful, attention seeker whose sole motivation was to show off and show how "special" they were, while accomplishing absolutely nothing.
Even so, it still would be well within an American's right to do such if they felt it was warranted. And there is nothing the government could do about it. The way you worded your statement tells me that is how you view all flag burners. It seems you would also be the type of person who would ignore anything they had to say - even if it was highly warranted on their part. People who literally have a limited view, such as what you described, are the ones who are quick to paint these people as anti-whatever-is-being-espoused-by-the-government-at-the-present-time. It is the people who prefer to close their mind to what is happening around them and listen to only one source, or sources that are driven by a single ideal, are the the ones we should be afraid of.

burning flags is illegal
RS, are you sure about that? As far as I recall, I can still burn a flag of any country that I please, including the US flag. If I did it in public, the police couldn't do anything about it, but I would probably get my ass kicked by a group of gung-ho, my-country-right-or-wrong, folk.

Hey Purps, try putting your camera on a tripod facing a freeway(or do it at the one with the bridge) and setting your exposure time to 10-15 seconds(if your camera will allow it). I think you'll get the result you're looking for. But the tripod is important!

When I got a sneak peak before everyone else did, I suggested that the *theme* of the site would turn away active jw's. The content isn't the problem. It is the way its presented.
When you have exjw's telling you that the site has a "creepy" feel to it and that the music sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone, I would take that as constructive criticism and make the necessary changes to suit my target audience. But it's obvious that the site owners have already put countless hours into the design and are not about to change the layout. That's too bad.
Randy's sites and the old Quotes site are perfect examples of getting current jw's to check things out for themselves without feeling like the demons are going to jump out of the screen. Again, these are just my opinions. Don't take that as my being totally anti-SSotW. It's yet one more site to show the dark side of the WTS.

I only know about it because I'm in the cell phone biz. I know how to unlock 'locked' phones, but it requires a certain application that is not accessible to the public. So in that case, I'm sure there are a few people out there that make a little bit of $$$ on the side by unlocking these phones that have access to such applications(but not me). The more my company makes, the bigger my bonus!
Oh, and dial 411 from your cell phone...*wink wink*

OK, let me hit these one by one ---
- The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112
First of all, this number is part of the GSM standard. It will only work on phones that operate on GSM networks. In the USA, this only includes Cingular(now AT&T again) and T-Mobile. It won't work if you have Verizon or Sprint/Nextel.
- Have you locked your keys in the car....
This is a crack up! THIS WILL NOT WORK. The only way it would work is if your car was in the driveway and the person you call is in the house. You can figure it out from there...
- Hidden Battery Power
Another joke. Let's face it folks. There are people out there in the world who send these emails out just to see how viral they can get.
- How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
Simple. Forget writing down your ESN(electronic serial number). Just call your provider and tell them your phone was stolen/misplaced. They will flag the ESN as stolen and the phone will not be able to be registered on a new account. Of course, this whole idea is null and void if the thief knows how to crack the security code and brings the phone to another provider which has no record of your previous esn.
- Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls
Try calling it and see how it works. They get their money by selling timeshares, etc. The reliability isn't that good either. But hey, its free.

My wife sent me this same email asking me if they were true. This is what I replied to her:
LMAO! esp the one when calling someone on their cell to have them unlock your doors! LOL
The only one that *might* be plausible is the 411. You would have to call it first to find out. It's probably a porn line. -

Justice said something about ---
and cutting peoples heads off on TV.
Why is this so wrong? If you steal, rape, murder, etc., you know what the punishment will be. One of the greatest allies to the USA practices this form of punishment. Why doesn't the USA reprimand Saudi Arabia for this act? We have the death penalty here in the USA as well. Does it matter how the form of punishment is carried out? Personally, I would much rather have my head lopped off over getting fried in the electric chair. Does it matter if it is aired on tv? SA does it out in public after prayers. Again, the USA just looks the other way -- and maybe you should too if you don't agree with your government's policies.

Do you Sudoku?
by BlackSwan of Memphis ini tried the one in the newspaper the other day and just about solved it.
but thought i should start small and work my way up to get a better understanding of how it's played.. so i picked up a sudoku mag at target the other day.

They must have powdered cocaine in those sudoku books cuz I can't stop doing them. If you have Verizon Wireless, you can download VZW's Sudoku for your phone(GetItNow). I only play the "master" ones and my best time is 9:48. My next best two times are in the 10's. It almost seems impossible to break that 10 mark. I think the game gave me a fluke "sensei" puzzle and that's why I got under 10 minutes.
So yes, Sudoku phreak here as well.
