  100mph winds

  that'll teach me to eat beans on toast, yesterday!!!.

  the wind is really picking up and the town is clearing as everyone is getting sent home from work.. we're expecting 100mph gusts here, on the west coast of scotland.. i'm gonna go home and get cosy, with a roaring coal fire.

  it's just as well our houses are built for severe weather!.

  Orangefatcats Surgery

  well yesterday i saw the surgeon, with regards to my left hip and because it is so advanced with osteoarthritis and is crumbling the doctor says my surgical date is march the 3rd.

  he said also he may have a cancellation for feburary and i may be able to have that day.

  hope all goes well. Just keep a good mental outlook and that will help alot.

  Just let the rest of it go. And concentrate on healing after the surgery.

  mind you, during that time, i have got married and my beautiful fillipino wife has had our 3rd baby.

  one of the issues i have with the wt teachings is that it is taught that a true believer must not engage in warfare.. the problem is: evil does exist and someone must be willing to stop evil.

  if not good people then who will?.

  many years ago, i asked a sister this question: "if no one had stopped hitler (the best example of evil at the time) what would have happened?

  Didn't Jesus give the example that if you are "employed" to carry a solder's gear a mile, carry it 2 miles? He didn't say to not carry it at all.

  So as a Christian, you let your conscience be your guide, imho.

  had gotten that surgery in toronto I would have had HIV

  that is not a true statement. That is only speculation. And a scare tatic to think getting blood transfusions are bad.

  When you had your surgery done in 1988 the blood was tested. Also it was tested in 1994, but obviously some people are not honest about their history, especially medical history, and people still get transmittable diseases from blood transfusions. Should that mean we should avoid blood transfusions, even when life threatening, because we may get a disease from blood? Should we pull all our teeth because we may get dental carries?

  The symbol for life is NOT more important than life itself.

  My daughter has a brain tumor :(

  i am so terrified!.

  #2 daughter came home from college on 12/18 with a violent headache, nausea, neck pain and great fatigue.

  we took her to the dr. on the 20 and again on the 21st as she had kept nothing down for 3 days.

  take a deep breath and remember to stay calm and love your daughter.

  I'm sorry you have to experience this horrible condition. Especially in a daughter, any child is hard. Take one hour at a time, one day at a time. It sounds like you are in good hands and time is your enemy right now because you want everything done and over.
