EX JW teen just signs with legendary producer!!!!!

dear friends,.

it has been a long time since i have posted.

time heals much pain, and finally, my family and i have been able to move on with our life outside of jw land.. many of you became our friends, our support system, and you know very well our exit story...we were labeled, slandered and disfellowshipped for having questions regarding the date 607. we sent out letters exposing the elders and circuit overseer to over 200 families.

You were the first person to write me on this site as well, and you gave me wonderful, encouraging advice.

It IS absolutely very possible to have your husband exit with you...but you have to show him how the actual foundation of the "truth" is based on a lie...then everything else will make sence, and he will most likely listen to you."

2 years later and my family is all out! We will most likely lose all my husband's family, but our children will be able to pursue their dreams and enjoy true freedom.

i was raised by a wonderful and close family.

i loved my congregation growing up.

when i would go to the meetings, i felt i could go to school the next day and deal with the pressures of that day.

Megan doesn't have Cancer! (Update)

we went on wednesday to the hospital.

apparently she is too young to have a mammogram or something to that effect.

they did however do one of those ultrasound scans and she was subject to a basic physical examination.. it's good news really, although now we need to know why it's happening because apparently she may have to have an operation to remove the ducts in her breast to find out what exactly is going on.

This month is breast cancer month, and Ellen had a guest on whose wife got breast cancer while breastfeeding her twin girls. She got it checked out right away. The guest is a doctor and said that you're never too young for a mammogram, and to keep asking if you aren't satisfied with what your doctor said.

I'm happy your wife is cancer free! And just to be safe I would ask another doctor or two so you feel 100% sure.

my husband had another 'phone call' last night from the congregation po... the conversation went something like this..... po " i do not want to put words into your mouth but are you saying you no longer want to be recognised as a jw?".

hubby " i am not making that statement no... cut to the chase what are you getting at".

po " i have been informed you celebrated (child) birthday".

So sorry to hear you're going through this Bez.

I know a couple who were announced they were no longer witnesses after they asked a question about the UN scandal. The elders never came back and taked to them or anything. But every case is different.

You have the right to take time and figure out if your Mom will be able to see your children and on what terms. Don't let her guilt you because of the consequences of her own choices. You never chose to be in this religion. It's not your fault.

...Weird Ass Lights in the Sky...

good evening jwn!!...

as most of you know i live in a forest,in the mountains..at night there is very little light pollution... so the sky is one big theatre screen... i see shooting stars,northern lights,satellites,planes on a destination..it`s all very beautiful... tonight was different... .

tonight there was something in the sky that defied anything i`ve ever seen... it had multiple aircraft lights but not like regular airplane lights..it wasn`t a helicopter... it could go straight up or down... move in one direction then head in another..it could do all kinds of weird stuff... sometimes it just hovered..then start doing all these weird maneuvers... regular aircraft is going somewhere,it`s headed in a direction..not this thing... i watched a regular airplane pass it... .

Ladies: were you often left to deal with the children at assemblies/meetings?

I feel so sorry for all the women whose husbands don't help out or are too busy with assignments. My husband wasn't an attendant when we had a child, so I was thankful for that. He was actually frustrated that they didn't have a father's room, or a change table in the men's room at the Circuit Assembly Hall. Not very family friendly.

I heard of mothers giving their children Gravol or Melatonin so they have a nap in the afternoon. I think it's sad that the society expects children to be contained for 6-8 hours for a convention with only one break.

No, I was married as a young Dub. But I know other people who have found their partners online and they're really happy. It's a good way to meet people, especially if you're away a lot. I'd give it a try.
